Australian orders getting dispatched? Apple are a ****ing joke. UK pays the most and gets last.
Worldwide orders have been shipped yet here in the UK non have even been prepared! That's a disgrace Apple! Angry is an understatement right now.
What's that got to do with anything?Would working on an apple production line be an enjoyable job?
It's just my luck really. The first time I've been able to afford a new iPhone on launch and all of this happens!! I just want my phone to ship!
What's that got to do with anything?
Is this just fantasy?
Ditto. Gold 64g. ATTJust wanted to throw my hat in and say I also just received tracking info for my silver 32gb T-mobile model. UPS tracking states delivery should be by the end of the day Tuesday.
Still nothing...
16gb Gold ATT ordered at 12:07 confirmation 12:12
Come on Apple!
Preparing for shipment! And my card is charged.
Edit to clarify: USA order, placed around 10AM eastern time on the day of release. It's a "no contract" unlocked GSM version ordered as T-Mobile (I am on AT&T). My confirmation email says "unlocked" so that doesn't concern me.
It's now been shipped. Delivery on 1 October.
I will NEVER understand why people on forums at macrumors pre order their iPhones. You're neurotic enough to continually check/post on forums regarding shipping dates then why not just wait and find one in a store?
I'm exactly like most of you men and women in that I want the new iPhone ASAP, but I've never considered pre-ordering because that locks you in. For the past two or three iPhone launches I've picked the phone up within 1-3 days of launch at a local store
I'm American. Ordered thru apple.com: Att 32g Gold, started at 1-3 days at 12:02 PT (exact time the site went live on my computer), received confirmation at 12:06 and had moved to 7-10 days. I'm still processing and still waiting.
Yep. Screw the online buyers. Send 'em all to the stores.
