7-10 business days (October 7 - 11 Delivery) group

I woke up today to see my (64GB Silver Unlocked) order is still processing :(

I will say however it's so nice to have this outlet and see how everyone else is doing with the same status as me. Thanks everyone for sharing. It makes my processing wait a little easier and more fun.
 
12:07 confirmation e-mail AT&T 64GB Gold, still processing items and no credit card charges.

I'm in the 1-3 group getting mine today and we're the last model of the initial group to get it. Which means this group should start seeing shipping Sunday night. Good luck guys.

I'm AT&T model, same size and color, ordered through Apple Store, email confirmation at 3:15. No change in order. Still processing. I'm resigned to the Oct. 7-10 date as being fairly accurate. They have other customers at the brick and mortar to keep happy. Why send me one earlier than they promised?:mad:

Got an email from Apple at 2:31am pst saying that my phone has shipped and is expected to arrive on Wednesday October 2nd!!

Details: US Gold 64 ATT ordered at 12:05am pst on the 20th
 
That is messed up if they're making us wait to supply the stores first. Though I'm not sure where they are sending the phones, because I just called all four AT&T stores in my area and they all claim to have been out of all colors and variances since launch...:confused:

The $1 charge is only an authorization, which generally falls off in 3-5 business days. It's perfectly normal for this to happen. The $1 "charge" provides Apple the authorization to debit the card at a later date, but because the payment hasn't actually occurred, they cannot hold the $1. FYI, I work for a financial institution.
 
My 32gb Space Grey just changed to "Preparing for Shipment"!!

Conformation e-mail at 00:04

Still says delivers 8-11 though

The Apple Stores are definitely getting new stock shipments everyday to sell in store. Maybe the brick and mortar carrier stores aren't at the moment? They were ordering them online for people once stock was gone, so those people are basically in our position as well. I thought I read that electronics stores and some carrier stores were still getting small numbers into the stores. Can't verify that though.
 
Anyone here order theirs after 3am? If so, any status changes? I'm now convinced that those who have shipped status ordered theirs around 3am EST (if i'm understanding the concept of confirmation email correctly), so it does appear they are shipping in order of date and time received.
 
So tired of refreshing just to see this....

I ordered at 12:07PST and it still says processing. Not fair! lol then again my order was unlocked gold
 
Just checked.. Ordered on apple.ca 32GB space gray at 3:02am EDT and it is now preparing for shipment!

How long does it usually stay like that before being sent off to UPS? I assume by Monday it should be shipped?
 
i have a question. my order was placed and complete by 12:17am pst. HOWEVER, i put the wrong billing address (in hurry, half asleep). Got the confirmation/processing email. good...Then i wake up at 6am to find that i have an "ORDER ACTION REQUIRED" email from aapl. I quickly fix the issue and its approved.

did i just lose my place in line because of this action required? it only said my order would cancel after one week, it didnt say id lose my spot in line. my thing still says 7-10.
 
Ordered 12:01 AM in the UK and it is still processing, 32GB Gold, to be honest it is amazing how annoying it is, we are seeing so much about these amazing new phones etc etc, but can we actually get it already?

Or are the only who are allowed to have one are the ones that take days off work just to stand in a huge line outside an apple store.

Not happy.

As fast as that are making them I am just hoping that quality control is on the ball and making sure that they are not sending out any lemons. These shipments are coming start from the factory so we are getting them and hoping that they work.

I don't think you lost your spot. I ordered two iphones, and I also received 7-10 days delivery time. Yesterday afternoon I received an email saying "ORDER ACTION REQUIRED". I immediately logged on and saw that one of my phones was preparing for shipment and the other one was still processing. I fixed the credit card issue for the second phone, but the order stayed processing but with the same 7-10 day delivery date. 30 minutes ago this order also changed to preparing for shipment. Hope your order changes status soon too!

If you think anything else happens/ed to the batches that are delivered to brick and mortar stores, you're sadly mistaken.
