Could be worse... could say "October" ;) (like mine... my order confirmation was later though, 12:30am pacific. Waffled about ordering online because I was near the front of the line at an Apple store... and then they turned out to have zero of the model / size I wanted.)

I immediately logged on and saw that one of my phones was preparing for shipment and the other one was still processing. I fixed the credit card issue for the second phone, but the order stayed processing but with the same 7-10 day delivery date. 30 minutes ago this order also changed to preparing for shipment. Hope your order changes status soon too!

Same thing just happened to me. Got the "action required" email yesterday around 7:00, called and got it taken care of around 9:00, and just noticed it changed to "preparing for shipment" about a half hour ago. Hopefully it ships soon.
 
So in the previous page I saw someone got a shipping email for there phone ordered at 3:06.

I ordered 32gb gold from apple store at 3:07 so everyone at that time we have to got to be next!(hopefully)

Except for one confirmation, I've not see anyone confirm "preparing to ship" for 32 GB Golds (7-10 day shipment group)...

I'm in the 3:06 window (32gb gold) and am still processing. I don't think they are in order of timestamp, sadly.
 
From other people I've heard the preparing phase only lasts a few hours. Those of us preparing should have tracking numbers before the end of the day.
 
The email confirmation time is helpful for everyone

I see most of the people now saying they are getting their iphones prepared for shipment are within the first 10 minutes.
My confirmation was 3:15 AM EST thru Apple (AT&T phone, 64 GB slate). Anybody with an order at 3:10 or later getting a change in status yet?
I'm still in Processing.
 
I'm in the original 7-10 day ship group after ordering at 3:10 ish that Friday morning.

Woke up this morning and got ship status and a tracking number from Apple.. Delivers 10/01 (currently). Woot! (64gb gold)
 
I'm a newbie and currently (im)patiently awaiting my Gold ATT 64gb. I received my confirmation at 12:10am (pst) with a delivery estimate of 7-10 days and i'm still processing. I ordered my husbands Silver ATT 64gb 1 minute later and he received his on Tuesday. :rolleyes:

Thats true I have seen 64GB gold shipping but not one 32GB gold change to shipping. Guess were not rich enough to warrant any attention.:(

My email was before 12:06 am on Friday for 32gb gold and still processing. I do agree I don't think it is going completely in time stamp order even for the exact same models as someone with a 3:06 said their is shipping. Maybe it has to do with locations too, they are doing it in groups of the country or state.
 
64GB Gold AT&T Order confirmation e-mail 12:07, still processing and no credit card charge.

I was part of the 7-10 shipment group, my 32GB gold was preparing for shipment last night and I woke up this morning to a tracking number and a notification stating my phone will be delivered on Oct 2 by the end of the day.
 
Digging gold takes time!

I ordered the 16GB gold (TMo) at full price at apple.com at 3:04 am (EST), got confirmation at 3:06 am. Still processing. Looks like Gold will ship after the Silver is done. Looks like Grey was first to clear backlog, now Silver and then it will be Gold's turn.
 
Looks like we shouldn't guess about what's shipping before what. It'll get here when it gets here....


16gb gold ATT still god damn processing...
 
Ordered my gold 32GB for TMobile at 12:06AM and it's still processing...

No, based on everyone's recent response. Looks like gold is the priority over silver in terms of getting shipment out. You will probably hear back pretty soon.
 
Got an email earlier today that my 5s has been shipped. It says delivers Oct. 3rd ... when clicking on the tracking number it shows estimated delivery of Oct. 1st.

I hope it comes even earlier ... customs don't touch my iPhone! :)
 
UK order, 16GB Gold 5s made at literally 12:01AM is now 'Preparing for Dispatch'!! So excited! Been waiting for this for what seems like forever!!

My silver 32 is now listed as preparing for shipping.
I wonder how long it will take to get here.
It is interesting watching the logistics of this, and I'm glad I ordered it for that reason rather than getting one in a store.
