My phone hasn't even shipped yet so looking at this, I doubt it will get here on time. Looks like it's time to call Apple...

I'm gonna wait til tomorrow to do that. It's not officially 10 business days til Tuesday or Wednesday but my phone hasn't shipped either. So I'm getting a little antsy
Mine has been showing this for the last few days. My delivery date is Wednesday so I'm assuming my iPhone is on its way, just UPS isn't updating my info.
My worry is that the holiday starts on Monday which would be the 7th business day. The 7-10 business day estimate falls right on this holiday.
Nope Monday is not a holiday tuesday is. Even so, it's not our problem as customers that there's a holiday. Apple should prepare for it in advance.
Spoke to an apple representative about the national holiday in China, all I got was this....
"If your delivery is affected, you will be notified by email.
Orders come from all over the world so there's no way to yours will be affected in any way by holidays or otherwise however if you would like to ring customer service you can."
Just hoping mine will get shifted tomorrow, otherwise it might be after the holiday!

They sold 9million phones..do you have any idea how many people are calling in about them?
They quoted 7-10 business days to ship. It isn't even the 7th day yet.
If I was on the other end of the phone and already answered hundreds of calls and hundreds of questions, I would probably start making up stuff just to get people off the phone too.
I deal with customers like that every day...I tell them something will be ready on Friday, and Tuesday they are calling. It's totally frustrating.
I'm just as anxious as everyone else, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait it out till Friday the 10th day before I start calling.
Since they are giving away beats and cases, I'm not even worried anymore if it gets delayed
My iPhone 5s gold 16G T0mobile change to "Preparing for Shipment" this morning, order placed 12:06am EST 9/20/13, got 7-10 business day processing. Anyone know how long it will take to move to "shipped"?

Typically Monday-Friday but I'm not sure if they do Saturdays or weekend exceptions just cause of the high demand so I believe Thursday or Friday would be 10th business day
Could range for any given amount of time. I've seen people on here that had theirs preparing for shipment for up to 2-3 days. My 32GB gold sat in preparing for shipment for about 15 hours then was shipped.
Still processing..... going to check the Southpoint Apple store this afternoon.... only because I will be there this afternoon

The Apple rep I spoke to told me that my phone would ship on 9/30 at the latest. Doesn't look like that's quite accurate. Since tomorrow is Monday (Tuesday, in China), that means if I don't get the shipment email, it wont be until Thursday or Friday when it ships.
I'm not counting on it at this point since it seems that people who ordered at online opening time (12am PST) are still getting shipped to this day. Haven't seen any change in statuses of those who ordered later in the day. Those of us who ordered long after 3am will probably be waiting longer. Not being pessimistic, just realistic at this point...

My order has been Preparing for Shipment for over 24 hours now... I'm really hoping it gets shipped out soon.
Mine has been sitting in the same status as yours. I am expecting that it will be shipping out this evening on a flight to the US. Just keep checking the UPS tracking this evening and we should see the update with it leaving China. I am crossing my fingers!
Of course, they are going to try to deliver it on the one day that I won't be home. I will be on a table having needles stuck in my spine that day. I rather be home waiting for my phone.

I'm a 12:15 PST confirmation order and I am still in processing as well. It seems like a bunch of back ordered Gold's that were ordered in the first 10 minutes are now going out. I am resigned to getting it on the outside edge of the promised date, which is Oct. 10th for me. They are sending out as many as they can to the stores and trying to meet promised dates too.
Hard to believe the stock has taken such a big hit in the last year with this kind of demand when they put out a new iphone.
