Man, this experience has been an ordeal and a half. To think I could have had any other colour on launch day. But no, I had to have Jet Black. I'm sure this will all be forgotten once it arrives.
Ugh. It's Murphy's law: extreme edition.
I have two jet black pluses that are sitting with you. I called UPS a few times today and got two different people that guaranteed me that they would be here tomorrow. The specialist I spoke to not more than an hour ago assured me that the phones have cleared customs and should see some activity within the coming hours.Who's my pallet buddies?
ZhengZhou, CN -- Arrival Scan -- 9/19/16 -- 11:30PM

I will be genuinely impressed if UPS pulls this off and I can pick up my phone tomorrow. It has to go from China -> Korea -> Anchorage, AK -> Louisville, KY -> My local airport -> Their local hub -> My customer center. I just don't see how that's possible from a logistical perspective in less than 24 hours.
Unless maybe their systems aren't updating or an entire pallet's worth of iPhones skipped a scan? This will be interesting to say the least.
But there's no way to know what plane a phone will be on without the matching scan times from UPS. It would be speculation as to whether or not our phones are on what plane because there'd be no departure time from UPS to verify. Some of us are watching the planes themselves rather than ups's crappy tracking system.
That's just it.The scan times for mine match UPS flight 99.But there's no way to know what plane a phone will be on without the matching scan times from UPS. It would be speculation as to whether or not our phones are on what plane because there'd be no departure time from UPS to verify.
Depends where you areWhat time does the plane need to leave by in order to leave Louisville on time for delivery tomorrow? Anyone know?
What is your estimated delivery date? Did it bump to Friday?I have two jet black pluses that are sitting with you. So you've had activity then past the 11:30 PM arrival scan to ZhengZhou? That's just it.The scan times for mine match UPS flight 99.

I'm CA - I wonder what time the Louisville to CA plane leaves.... hmmmmDepends where you are
Ups just emailed me back from a previous message saying my package is still set for pick up tomorrow pending customs clearance . I'll believe it when I see it lolSo you've had activity then past the 11:30 PM arrival scan to ZhengZhou?
I don't have one any more because I requested my phones be held at the customer center. They're no longer providing me estimated dates of delivery. Apple gives a date of 9/23, up one day from 9/22, but UPS insists that I will have them tomorrow, 9/21.

That's what I'm saying. I just don't see how they think it's possible for me to pick up my phones tomorrow when they're still sat in China. Either they're flying them out on supersonic Blackbirds, they've missed scans/their tracking system is overwhelmed or not working, or I'm not getting my phones tomorrow. And I think it's the latterUps just emailed me back from a previous message saying my package is still set for pick up tomorrow pending customs clearance . I'll believe it when I see it lol
Google shows UPS flight 99 left at 4:17 local time, it's been in the air for about 15 minutes now with an estimated landing time of 2:10 AM local time.Fingers crossed... UPS 99 leaves in another few minutes. The current arrival time in Louisville is cutting it freakin close though to my connecting flight. We need some "efficient UPS" magic.
Where did you find that? Link please.Google shows UPS flight 99 left at 4:17 local time, it's been in the air for about 15 minutes now with an estimated landing time of 2:10 AM local time.
Just search Google for "UPS flight 99" and it will show a widget of all of the relevant flight information.Where did you find that? Link please.
Have we gotten any customs scans or import scans yet? That would indicate their movement into the US here soon
