I have two jet black pluses that are sitting with you. I called UPS a few times today and got two different people that guaranteed me that they would be here tomorrow. The specialist I spoke to not more than an hour ago assured me that the phones have cleared customs and should see some activity within the coming hours.

I will be genuinely impressed if UPS pulls this off and I can pick up my phone tomorrow. It has to go from China -> Korea -> Anchorage, AK -> Louisville, KY -> My local airport -> Their local hub -> My customer center. I just don't see how that's possible from a logistical perspective in less than 24 hours.

Unless maybe their systems aren't updating or an entire pallet's worth of iPhones skipped a scan? This will be interesting to say the least.

Not trying to be a downer but my phone was in China 18th thru today. I had a delievery date for today as well. Lastnight I spoke with UPS and they assured and confirmed me my phone would be here today. Of corse today my phone didn't arrive and will now be here tomorrow.
I hope they are right about yours!

Fingers crossed... UPS 99 leaves in another few minutes. The current arrival time in Louisville is cutting it freakin close though to my connecting flight. We need some "efficient UPS" magic.
How did you figure out what your connecting flight is going to be?

I seriously doubt they're right. I don't know what they gain by telling everyone that their phone will arrive "on time" when they can literally see there's no logistical way of that happening. Just really bummed that it's shipped but stuck in China all this time. It's coming up on 36 hours. I thought my waiting was done when I cleared "preparing for shipment" but apparently every leg of this journey requires waiting.

We're all going to have Monk-level patience next year, folks!

Haha for real!!
I know I even stressed that I was having to stay at home to be there to sign as I don't trust the pre-sign stuff and they still said it was coming.

There was a link posted by some guy maybe 10ish pages back. Don't have it open right now though... sorry.

My connecting flight is supposed to be leaving around 4:30ish AM. It's gonna be close.

I told them multiple times not to "BS" me (I didn't actually use those words but something similar) and two different people ASSURED me that my delivery date is still accurate and that I can pick up tomorrow.

So what are the next flights out of ZhengZhou to Korea?

KAL810 A332 Incheon Int'l (ICN / RKSI) Wed 10:50AM CST Wed 02:00PM KST (11 pm est)
CSN6009 B738 Incheon Int'l (ICN / RKSI) Wed 04:40PM CST Wed 07:30PM KST (4 40 am est)

I found both of these, but not sure which one is for our phones

I'm trying To get something from UPS saying that mine actually left S.K. I don't know why, not even an updated delivery date. Tomorrow is almost here on this half of the globe.

Yea mine originally said delivery for tomm but updated this morning to Thursday but with all the delays people have been having I wouldnt be surprised if it gets moved another day to Friday :/

Anyone else in Ohio who knows if any planes are involved after Louisville. I'd think a truck would do it from there.
I believe the packages fly from Louisville to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport where they are taken to the UPS hub 9 minutes away in Middleburg Heights. From there all packages should go to their respective local hubs via truck for final delivery.

Damn, you know Apples stretch of dates span for about 2-weeks to be on time delivery, so they don't have us calling crazy every time something happens. But when the actual carrier sets a date of delivery, you'd figure that would be the one to rely on. Reality is yes things happen, but why now during our JB realease date(s)?

I'll say it again, if the phones are still in Asia, then there is zero chance they will be here tomorrow, it doesn't matter what the guy on the phone is telling you. The flight time to the US for the fastest commercial plane is going to be between 12 and 15 hours. That means if your phone left right now it wouldn't be to the states in time for you to get it tomorrow.

One thing that consoles me a little is that our phones have to be on flight 99. It makes no sense for them to unload the plane and onto another one. So if that logic makes sense then someone else can chime in on that too

Meanwhile my phone has been sat quietly in China for 36 hours
