That's what I'm hoping, I've been tracking that flight since this morning and was hoping to see a matching departure time on my tracking status but as far as UPS is concerned, my phone is still in Korea. Really hoping it made the flight, because a flight from AK to KY follows just hours after the plane touches down in AK, which would mean it's right on time for pick up tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

12:50am EDT/9:50pm PT is when UPS 99 lands in Kentucky. At this point, we will likely see some movement. Wouldn't be surprised if we dont see a scan in AK since I assume most, if not all cargo will remain in the plane during the layover.

You guys are lucky - I ordered at 12:09pm PST off Verizon site on 9/9/16 and havent seen any movement. Never again will I use Verizon for preorders. My date is 9/28

Yeah but did they have scans leaving china. We have no departure scans from KR

I sure as hell hope so. I mean there should be absolutely no reason that our phones missed the flight from Korea to Anchorage this morning. Supposedly they have already gone through a security clearance/inspection/customs so there should be no more hold ups.

I doubt it. All phones are leaving China to Korea, from Korea to Anchorage, AK in the states, then they head to WorldPort in Louisville, KY (which is UPS's super-hub) and then from there they fly the packages all over the US to all of the other airports. In my case, since I'm in Ohio, my phone will fly from KY to the airport in Cleveland, OH, the phone will be driven to a UPS hub that's about 9 minutes away from that airport, and then it'll go on a truck to my local hub after it's been scanned. It's actually a really cool logistics process, it just sucks that UPS can't handle the volume/keep customers informed with accurate information.

Mine missed yesterday's flight and sat in Korea for over a day. I think the flights from KR > HK > AK are a bit overloaded. Everything seems to be a day behind.

My delivery date has moved from 9/19, to 9/20, to 9/21, and now to TBD (which should hopefully change to tomorrow, as mine lands in AK shortly).

Those of you who are also getting your phones today/tomorrow - word of advice - check the prices on eBay before deciding to rip open the box. I was not able to pass it up when I saw those amounts.

How much you sale yours for? I saw them, but I don't feel like waiting for a new one to come in. This wait has been hard enough lol

Same, mine was originally 9/21, then 9/22, then last night switched to Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later.

Im pretty sure if our phones did make it onto the plane to Anchorage, we should be getting our phones tomm 100%

Did u have a departure scan from KR?
 
It really looks like NO ONE got departure scans from Korea this time around... hoping we all made it, as we were there in plenty of time, and I would doubt that Apple would be happy with UPS skipping an entire day of shipments!

Not trying to diminish hope but I think the delivery date apple gave us is the one they'll meet?


I know it isn't much but my case I orderedthursday a leather one UPS stated deliver Monday... showed a scan Monday 4am in another state.. then no updates till Tuesday which was apples original quota ..

I got it delivered Tuesday.. I wonder.. if this might be the same ;/ Apple quoted me Friday for this phone 09/23

okay so my judgement on the spigen case isn't very good...after having it on the phone for a few hours...

it hides the jet black element enough for you to sort of think "i may as well just have a nice looking case on it"

sure it's clear, but hides a lot of the phones beauty...

apple case is now on! the new apple leather cases are LOVELY! especially with the separate buttons.

very true, they did quote the 23rd for me too. I would just doubt that they would hold it up unless they couldn't get space on this flight, or had to use it for store/carrier stock, or something else... Would be odd for them to have it sit in Korea for the day!
 
My 9/22 just got delayed to 9/23 as well. Did a live chat with UPS to see what was going on - he immediately knew it was an iPhone 7. Looks like all of our phones in the 9/23 bin are stuck in customs.

Matthew: My Package was due to be delivered tomorrow - and now has been delayed until friday - why?
Jose M.: Due to special Apple operating plans, scheduled delivery dates fluctuate on U.S. imports.
Jose M.: I understand when you deal with customs there are no certain dates. I am sorry.
