Absolutely. I had ordered both a 7 and 7 Plus to try and make a decision between them, but that made the decision for me. The battery on my 7 has been great compared to the smaller phone in the past, and now it was free to me and then some.

Mine shipped on 9/20. Still in China. Estimated delivery was 9/22, but now got pushed back to 9/23.
Having the exact same thing here. My delivery got pushed from 9/23 to 9/26 though.
Wait hold up, you just ordered it and its saying preparing for shipment already? When did you order it?
I've got the same scan/time/location as you. The delivery date when you pull up my tracking number was bumped to Friday (9/23) but when you look at the UPS My Choice Delivery Planner that still shows delivery on Thursday (9/22).
Mechanical failure of what? A plane or truck?
Mechanical failure of plane going from Louisville KY to California. It'll still come a few days earlier than expected so I'm greatly appreciative for Apple's work on getting these delivered asap. I bet Apple execs are quietly thrilled over the Note 7 explosion debacle.
On it's way finally! Ontario ETA: 5:05pm, delivery 9/22/16 between 12pm-2pm
15 minutes till the plane lands in Anchorage. Hopefully we get our UPS page updated if we're on that flight :X

It may not update since I imagine the phones will remain onboard the plane during the layover - that same flight is leaving Anchorage to Louisville a couple hours after it lands. If we don't see updates after the flight lands in Louisville, then I'd say it's safe to assume our phones won't be coming tomorrow :\

When I checked the email Apple sent saying that my phone has shipped and says track my shipment, that showed me that it's delayed a day delivering Friday instead of Thursday
