Yes it's real... it's part of the process for getting the JB color on the phones... they burn them-->then once they charred, they polish them.. no wonder they are taking for ever to get here.....

Sigh I was feeling optimistic after that guy posted some quote from Reddit saying they were upgrading our shipping... but seeing as I can't find that post on Reddit and my UPS tracking still says Express Saver, I'm thinking maybe they were just trolling us. Guess I'll just hope for Monday.

I hope so. This is by far the worst delivery I've ever experienced, though not really apple's fault, I'm surprised that it happened on an order on apple.com
Apple chooses to give the shipping to the lowest bidder. Should've gone with FedEx. You get what you pay for.
I get it from the business aspect, but I also remember there used to be a period of time where both UPS and Fedex were utilized, or am I just talking nonsense? after all if a vendor can't fulfill its promise, they're as useless as it gets.
