In the main while, I preordered my jetblack at 12:11 on launch day and my JB is still having a nice vacation in korea. Thanks a lot UPS
 
Just got off of Apple Live Chat about the shipping dilemma and this is what I was told (excluding reps name):

Rep: I’m showing an estimated delivery date of 09/23.

Rep:
Based on the tracking, I know we’re concerned about the scan information, but these are bulk iPhone deliveries, and aren’t providing each specific detail as it ships.

Rep:
I’d assume it’s already within the US and just awaiting a scan in through customs.

Rep:
While I am confident we’re guaranteed that date, if there’s not a delivery received by 8PM on the 23rd, you may chat or call us to start an investigation with the carrier as to what’s going on, which would prompt us to get a replacement device going if there was some mixup in transit.

We'll most likely get it on Monday. UPS works on weekends, but they wont deliver the package (They'll keep it at your local hub)... They could pretty much do the whole process tomm. KR > Alaska > KY > Local hub and make delivery for Saturday if what that guy on reddit said was true.
 
:oops: ANNOYED at this point, but what can we do? This phone better be worth it and I hope mine doesn't have the "hissing" issue when it does arrive!:apple:
 
Per Reddit: packages in Korea are being upgraded to next day delivery.

"Just spoke to a UPS shipping logistics supervisor who explained to me that all iPhone packages (with a Korean arrival date of 9/20 or 9/21) currently held up in Korea will be out of Korea tonight and in the US by tomorrow morning.

I then spoke to a management rep at the Apple Online Store who stated that all packages currently in Asia have been upgraded to next-day delivery. He assured me that I would have my phone either tomorrow or Saturday at the latest."

Personally I'm willing to believe this. I think we may be pleasantly surprised and receive our phones either tomorrow or Sat.

If any lucky souls who have received their phone are still watching this thread, feel free to continue showering us with photos of your glorious new devices in various states of dress/undress... It may soothe our disappointment slightly lol

I received mine on Wednesday. I love it obviously and the home button is actually better than the old one. Only thing for me, I still have not found the perfect case for it. I tried the Spigen Air Cushion and hated it. I currently have the Spigen Liquid Crystal clear case on and it's nice, but really makes the black look much duller. I know Spiegen will be releasing a Liquid Crystal Space Gray edition (releasing on 9/30) which is supposed to be optimized for the Jet Black color. Going to give that a try. I also want to try the Spigen Thin Fit Jet black color once it's release on the 23rd. The links are below for the three cases I mentioned. Good luck to you all on getting your phones. Once they get out of Korea, you will definitely have the phone the next day.

You keep trying the same brand. Give Ringke a try, especially the Ringke Fusion. I've had them on my iPhone 5, 6, and 6s and love them. Got two different ones for my 7+ so I can compare. I did have a Spigen for my 6s but didn't like it as much as the Ringke.
