The real question is if they'll make an exception and deliver on saturday for 801 group seeing as how it will be in Anchorage in about 40 minutes.
Have you had that black spot in the middle of your left palm checked out? Or is it dirt? Looks like a small melanoma. You don't want that!

Its possible. Ive seen posts of UPS delivering iphones on saturday when people missed them on friday.

Have you you really? I've been following this for awhile and I haven't seen any. Like when we thought we might get them on launch day because Apple does next day air people thought they'd get them Saturday instead but they had to wait til Monday. I hope you're right obviously but my dreams have been crushed by UPS too many times
I asked the Apple rep yesterday if they would deliver my phone on Saturday if possible. He told me that they had upgraded all of these to as fast as possible delivery, to include Saturday. I've also sent an email to help@ups.com (which is where they ask you to send an email for twitter complaints) to confirm that if my phone arrives in time to sort, will they deliver it Saturday, still waiting for a reply from them.
No scratches at all, been travelling on the Underground everyday, and a conference yesterday, in and out of my pocket all the time, nothing yet. Of course it's going to get scratched up eventually, but I plan to embrace the usage marks, a bit like an old Leica.
My JB 7+ 256GB AT&T purchased on iPhone Upgrade Program, Ships: 4-6 weeks, Delivers 18 Oct, 2016 - 31 Oct, 2016 just moved to Preparing for Shipment! Purchased at 03:24 on 9/9. 
Just got a preparing to ship on JB 256 7+ original date was end of October.
I just spoke to UPS. He said there is ZERO chance of my phone arriving today or Saturday, despite being scheduled for delivery today originally.
He said that they won't have any information about a delivery time/date until the package is scanned into the local office. The only thing he could say was that my package was en route to Kentucky.
He said that the current shipping option doesn't allow for Saturday delivery and that nothing has been changed or updated in their system.
It's definitely looking like a Monday delivery...

Well you're in a diff group than the 8:01 one ( Which was shipped out earlier ). Not sure if that makes any diff though.
"I completely understand how frustrating this is for you. We might be able to get Saturday delivery. It does depend on the location whether or not UPS will do so. Our best option is to keep an eye on apple.com/orderstatus as well as the tracking information."
