I want Tim Cook to wake up at 2am and spam refresh to try and get a phone from his own company on release date next time.
Such a huge relief now that I know I will get my iPhone before vacation. My case comes this Saturday.
No scratches at all, been travelling on the Underground everyday, and a conference yesterday, in and out of my pocket all the time, nothing yet. Of course it's going to get scratched up eventually, but I plan to embrace the usage marks, a bit like an old Leica.
That makes me happy. Maybe it's not as scratch prone as some make it out to be.
Lands in 2 hours and 30 mins, and then 3 hours after landing, it will travel to Louisville which will land at 1 am est.
My contribution to the noise with my UPS chat since my phone didn't leave today... Not that I expected anything out of it...but it was something to do at lunch break...

ME: I'm just trying to get some clarity on this shipment....it seems to be constantly delayed. It was first set for delivery 9/22....then 9/23....then delivery went away....then it said mechanical failure....now it's saying another mechanical failure....

The package shows that will resume moving soon, however, the new delivery date has not been updated yet. I suggest you to please keep on tracking your package in our website since once the new delivery date is available it will show there.
ME: So I had paid for next day delivery when I made the order....two questions with this. Will it be leaving Korea today? And in the chance that it made it the US by today, is there a chance it would be delivered on a Saturday?
Fredy S.: The package should start moving out of Korea, but I'm sorry, the Saturday delivery option is only available when the shipment is created. At this point, Saturday delivery cannot be added.
ME: Okay. So we don't know when it's leaving or arriving and there's no way to speed that up or answer those questions?
Fredy S.: That is correct, currently we can only suggest you to keep on tracking the package. Once additional information is available, it will show in our website.

Awesome. This gives me hope. Same exact phone and original shipping group. However, no movement or charges for me yet.

store...I was in the 10/18-10/31 group, ordered 00:13 att&t JB 128, my phone is shipped(eta 9/22 ups/ eta 9/26 apple) but is in the mechanical failure delayed group in KR with no eta now.. I sold my 6s plus so I don't have a phone now.
Can't live without a phone this weekend so I'm going to apple store today to pick up a phone (6s plus/ 7/ 7 plus whatever is available) n return it after I get my phone.

How nice! I also did the same as you.. just that Apple rather not send me the phone yet.. I think it's retaliation for not buying the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4s... I knew that was going to bite me sooner or later...
Just can't understaffed the logic behind all this pre-order mess. I ordered in the first 8 minutes and yet I'm in processing and people who ordered after me I getting their phones.

So mine Left Seoul 5 hours ago, and also 1 hour ago now. If that 1 hour ago is true, no phone Saturday because it can't make it to the sort facility by sort time..... sigh...
I called UPS and the facility that holds them.. stated they don't allow pick up one attempt needs to be made yet, I called them Monday to hold it -.- I don't think they know what they say and yet
