Thanks for confirming, this is a first year I won't be getting the iPhone at launch (if the dates don't indeed still change). Well, at least it's only a couple of weeks and not November
Ugh. I stayed up until 3am for this. I was so ready. Couldn't have been more ready. Used the store app, tried to buy using AT&T Next, didn't work, tried again paying in full, didn't work, tried and tried and tried. FINALLY the order went through around 3:40am, but by that time the shipping estimates had slipped to November! Pickup wasn't available at my nearest store, and I didn't want to prolong the process by checking other stores, I just wanted the dagnabbit order to go through. I really need that phone, because my 6 Plus is shattered, and I have big events coming up that I need that awesome 7 Plus camera for! Wondering how I can get my hands on a 256GB AT&T Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus in the next couple weeks. I would go to a store on launch day, but I'm pretty sure all the Jet Blacks and even Blacks are going to be spoken for already. I called Best Buy and the store and seems like I'm S.O.L. *sigh* Any ideas?

Well, that's just a canned answer. I'm pretty connected with Apple and AT&T and both are saying very few Jet Blacks will be available on launch due to demand and very little stock. Personally, I wouldn't wait in line for a Jet Black because there's a 98% chance you won't get one.

Shipping times are a *little* conservative this year for the jet black phones but it's definitely going to be a while. There's been some problems with manufacturing and delays.
I've kinda given up on launch day (BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!) I'm now just kinda hoping for next Monday.
I am not convinced there are going to be any JB 7+'s at launch, nobody with a launch date delivery date, and the people who are getting walk in stock for the apple upgrade program mishap, are getting anything but 7+ Jet Black, and 2-3 week wait for those.
Someone in the Apple.com 7/7+ thread just posted that their 7+ JB 128G (Verizon) appeared in their support profile, but haven't seen a change in status. Their delivery dates were Sep 26-Oct 3. Maybe some movement...

checked. my wife 7 gold has been added...my JB 7+ not so much.
I had confirmation at 4 after for the 7+ 256 in sydney but my date range is 21-28 Sep. holding out hope that it will move up for this Friday.
Just adding to the 22 pages of disappointment - Ordered 256 IP7 plus Jet Black through apple store app (AT&T Next Upgrade). Refreshed until store went live at about 3:05 EST (I believe thats when it went live but its and estimate - I was refreshing like a madman) Had order saved to favorites - and I experienced a glitch because Apple had a different billing zip code because I recently moved to another state...Short story shorter, Confirmation email at 3:11 am.
Im in the Sept 26th to Oct 3rd boat and of course Im off this Friday but work most of next week coincidentally..Also I work 7am to 730pm so I have zero chance of being able to pick up from AT&T hub after work next week ..
No update in order status as of now, no support profile and no UPS tracking info via reference or my UPS MY choice account.
As many others, I've had luck with phones being shipped earlier than expected in the past, however with Apple watch series one (stainless 42 with Blue leather loop) I ordered in the same fashion and again unfortunately picked a style doomed from day one. We all know how that turned out. I'm giving this phone 1 in 5 odds of showing up Friday - despite the apparent rush by Apple to fix their phone upgrade program debacle...which is surely pulling supply from somewhere.
That being said I still feel lucky to have gotten what seems to be the earliest possible ship date and feel bad for people in the October and November Club...UGH!!
