I wonder what our ride to Louisville is going to be... there's like 6 flights taking off within the next hour!!! I'm leavin' on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again! ✈️

Back to Korea/China? Hopefully not until next year (and hopefully not as long!).

I don't ever wanna visit China or Korea again... especially if UPS is my ride!
[doublepost=1474671264][/doublepost]I know that nobody can give a straight story about Saturday delivery, but the one thing I keep thinking is that they ran A LOT of extra KR > AK and AK > KY flights today to just let phones sit around until Monday or Tuesday. Maaayyybbbeee...

I'm pretty sure we will be on 6085. That should be the same plane that we were on from Seoul.

With regard to Saturday delivery, these flights likely have packages on them that will be delivered on Saturday. They will arrive at the sort facility in Louisville at around 1am. This is the normal time and schedule for packages, so there's no reason they couldn't deliver these on Saturday. As an example, I have a package coming from Amazon for Saturday delivery. It's coming out of Ontario, CA and won't leave for another couple hours.

So the only thing that would prevent them from delivering it on Saturday is that they don't want to do it.

Well theres someone in the Apple thread who got updated to Saturday delivery (but his phone took a diff weird route)

I'm in the 8:01 group that made it to Anchorage today and will be heading to KY overnight. I realize we've all heard a ton of conflicting info from many sources, but this was just emailed back to me from UPS after asking if they might have Saturday delivery even with the standard Express Saver.

Here is what they wrote:
If the package reaches the center in enough time and we have the staffing and capability of a Saturday delivery, we will do our best to upgrade the packages. If it is upgraded, you will see a "Saturday Delivery Upgrade" scan entered into the system.
So, there ya go... something else to ponder! Basically don't depend on it...

That's exactly what UPS just told me.

Well at least they are contemplating it... I feel like companies like UPS and FedEx have such massive contracts with companies big and small, that they can get away with basically whatever crappy service they want to provide. Nine times out of ten, as consumers we don't have a choice what shipping company gets used.
