I got the email too and the weird one that was sent before that one. Thank goodness. At least they making an effort now because of the BS weather delay. I bet Apple was like we not using you guys next year if you don't get this crap straight lol
Guys I'm so happy UPS is delivering our phones tomorrow. Finally
I know right. This has been a long journey. I hope all the 8:01 crew get their phones. I feel like we are some Alumni or something. We should all have a reunion next year lmao
I was in the 7:43 group and last saw a 4:11 departure from Alaska. Stayed up this long so figure I'd wait until touchdown in LouisvilleNo email from Apple yet for me. But seemingly my plane hasn't landed yet. 4:24 departure. Hoping to wake up to some good news but we will see.
Hmm... I'm not sure. I've never seen SurePost or heard of UPS handing off to USPS. What I was referring to, is when you do finally get a delivery time estimate, such as "by the end of the day on such and such date," the confirmed 2 hour window lets you set when in the day you want the package delivered. You do not get to pick any random time. There is a list of 2 hour windows that you must choose from. This wasn't available until my phone arrived in Louisville. So if you do this it allows you to upgrade from surepost to UPS ground for free. When I looked that up it looks like they give it to the post office for delivery. Would that mean Saturday delivery is a high possibility???
Delivery time is slower than groundservice. The delivery time of SurePost is typically one day slower than UPS Ground. This is because on the day UPSwould normally be dropping the package off at your customer's door, it is instead dropping it off at the USPS branch nearest to the customer. ... Time.]
Those getting the email... what flight number were you on headed to Louisville??
