7+ Jet Black (128/256) Date Change Thread

I wish I had Saturday delivery! One of my phones is ~20 minutes away since 2 AM and won't be delivered until midday Monday o_O

Bizzarre! My package sat in Korea for a minute! There was zero indication of movement yesterday. I chatted with UPS to no avail. No one could tell me anything as to if the phone was going to make its way out of Korea. Woke up this morning and BOOM! My delivery date was originally 9/22. Then it was 9/23 and eventually disappeared all together. Now, it has been updated to Monday, which was the date originally indicated in the email from Apple when my phone first shipped. I am happy considering that my original date range was 10/18 - 10/31. Oh, and for the record, my order information is as follows:
  • AT&T 128 GB JB iPhone 7+
  • Purchased outright through apple.com
  • Confirmation email received at 3:19 AM EST

Mine just got to Denver but I seriously doubt it's gonna make it for delivery today.

I'm wondering if I can go pick it up at the hub. Would be a drive but better than waiting nearly 3 more days..

Edit : nope because they are closed today. :(

I just got the late flight BS too. Apple said it would be delivered today but my UPS my choice says Monday.
 
Anyone have an update on UPS that says out for delivery today. You would think UPS would be updated by how. Also what does that import scan exactly mean ?
 
Now I'm nervous again. Get the email that says should be delivered today yet I don't have an update after that import scan. Fml

I'm a couple hours from Louisville and I dont have an Arrival scan yet

I still think that UPS automatically just put the next business day for the delivery date. Because of the type of service they use to ship it which was that UPS worldwide saver which delivers on business days. I would wait and see if you have it out for delivery scan. Because I got the email from Apple saying it will be delivered today and my UPS my choice says Monday. But I believe I'll get it today so I'm just gonna wait for the local scans. Plus yesterday Apple had said when I chatted with them they were making arrangements for the UPS to deliver today. That must statement be true because we got that email saying from Apple saying that UPS will deliver today.

I also did confirm with UPS yesterday that I have Saturday delivery in my area. So if you didn't get the email regarding Saturday delivery maybe it's possible you don't have Saturday the delivery available where you live. Just a thought.

Also got the Apple e-mail stating Saturday delivery, but UPS still says delivery date unavailable and under services it still lists Express Saver and mentions nothing about Saturday delivery.

That said, it left Louisville at 5:43am, went to Birmingham (my state) and then left there at 6:31am, so it's moving very quickly and I assume is headed to my city. I'm a 4 hour drive from Birmingham, so it couldn't possibly get to my city until 10:30am... Wondering if that is too late to get on vehicle for delivery.

I have to say, even though UPS did a really poor job of communicating what was happening in Asia, if they pull off a delivery today, I will be more than a little impressed. Gotta wonder if Apple threatened to stop using them or what's got them scrambling.
