7+ Jet Black (128/256) Date Change Thread

Holy crap! It's here! And it still doesn't even show a local arrival or out for delivery scan. I was out cutting grass and saw the UPS man drive into the neighborhood. He went right past our house and never even slowed down and I thought oh well... then he pulled into a house about 4-5 doors down, sat for a second, and then came back to our house! Hahaha! Hang in there guys!

So you guys will love this. Mine is showing out for delivery, but I have 2 that have tracked identically all around the world, both are 256GB JB 7+ T Mobile devices. So about 20 minutes ago, the doorbell rings and the driver is here with....

ONE Package.

I say there's suppose to be two, and he goes and checks the truck and says 'it says in the computer I'm suppose to have the other one on my truck, but I don't. It might be on another truck'

Sigh.....

So I keep waiting for the other one..

Sounds about right lol...
I remember with the iPhone 5, something like that happened with my wife's. We complained to Apple and they sent a second one. The next day, the first one arrived and then a few days later, so did the replacement!

We were planning to return the extra but didn't get around to it for a couple of weeks. Apple never contacted us or gave instructions for sending it back. Pretty sure if we hadn't called them to arrange it we would've had a free extra phone.

That sucks but at least you got a phone.
 
So, mine goes out for delivery. Then I get a notification that the failed delivery. I was having it delivered to an access point that was open for business and apparently they never took it there.

They can't make this easy, can they?

Jeez what a pain... is the hissing constant or what causes it? And omg @takethewall I would be furious...

Just got a shipping notification for my JB 128 7+ (ordered through Sprint). It's chilling in NorCal right now. Maybe a Monday or Tuesday delivery?!

Ordered at 1:30am pst when the site came back on 9/9

Yes my date was for Monday 9/26 then updated to out for delivery today @9:30 EST on UPS app
 
Mine is hissing too and hot! Called Apple they will deliver a new one on Monday.
Worse part of the hissing is its recorded in your videos
 
So how late does UPS deliver packages on Saturdays it's already 1250 est here and no delivery despite being told it would be delivered

743 group, phone delivered! After going to the hub and being told I'd have to wait until Monday.

The person at the counter even confirmed that I wanted it held for pickup and made sure the request was put through. A couple hours later there was a knock at my door and my phone was delivered.
I guess the error worked in my favor. Yay.

The driver just left. He said he'll be working all day. I'm in Northern Virginia.
 
So I talked to customer care. They said likely due to a contract with Apple they can't be delivered to to an Access point? Did anyone here use an access point or know of anyone who did?
 
So it's finally here. :). It's definitely a nice color. Now as far as this hissing I don't hear it unless I put my ear to the phone so I'm not sure if it's the same noise you guys are talking about. When I put it to my ear it sounds like any other high tech gadget with a processor.
