Yes. I got the preparing for shipment notification on the 17th, but didn't get shipment info or the shipment notification until the 23rd. Since then tracking info was scarce, but it just arrived yesterday as promised (since the 23rd) despite UPS saying it was in China until Tuesday night.Has anybody waited a long time before actually having their phone shipped?

My friend ordered after me went from PFS to shipped in no time. Blows my mind because he ordered Jet Black T-Mobile through Apple as well.

no- i was in pfs for 5 days-- many others as wellNope. Pretty sure there is no phone actually preparing for shipment. Probably just charged me for a potential phone waiting to be assembled. Even though my status is PFS, I'm still in the same state as processing. There's no doubt about it, others have moved PFS to shipped so quickly and some even have order times and delivery dates that are way beyond me.
I've been looking here and other forums and that's the general consensus. There is no first come, first serve and combine that with the limited stock/availability, this has to be the worst preorder ordeal I went through. Why are folks with mid-October dates receiving their devices before some who have estimates this week?
