Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while just to see status updates. Lo and behold I was just prepping some dinner and I get an email from apple telling me my payment information needed updating (turned out my bank was being cautious). They charged for my phone and it went to preparing for shipment. Still says Sept 26-Oct 3 though.

What time was your confirmation email? Does it show up under UPS Track by Reference (phone number or order number minus last 2 digits)?
It was 3:03AM EDT, I'm in Canada if that makes any difference. It doesn't show on UPS yet via any tracking method.
I just got my case today, and UPS MyChoice let me know about that last night, so we'll see.
Checked there too, nothing at the moment

I'm afraid I'm in the same boat. I'm leaving the States on the 26th, so my 26-03 delivery estimate isn't comforting. Feel like I don't have another move if I don't see any updates by tomorrow night.

Then I see this and it makes a wait seem more reasonable. Damn does that look nice.
Day after day I tell myself I'll just wait for 2 more weeks, it'll fly by. Yet I find myself checking threads like this to find any tiny bit of hope... So sick of staring at the October 5-12th date on my Apple order page. On the other hand my mom has a shipping date of November for her 128 Jet black and she's not even the slightest phased.

I'm sort of surprised this is happening. My only hope is that they do they are shipping from their warehouses here and we get "surprised" and get shipping info Thursday night. Too bad that I think this will be the first iPhone I don't get on launch day

I'm with you. It looks great. Every time I think for a moment that I might cancel mine and get matte black I see one of these pics and remember why I chose that finish. I'm going to hold out for this beauty.
