Oh wow. Hey if you guys want to believe that I faked it, I can't stop you since there's literally no way to verify a screenshot. But really this was just meant to show you guys that there is something happening at the backend at least.

Hey, nobody here is calling you a liar. It's just that we've been through enough of an emotional rollercoaster, that it can be a little hard to trust. We don't want our hearts crushed again. The fact you're coming back to post shows you're more than likely telling the truth.

So welcome, and stay as long as you like. If you feel like sharing any further updates we'll be glad to listen! :)

Yes, I am in Windsor Ontario. Date shows sept 26 to Oct 3
In the past they don't charge unless its going out.
Fingers crossed.

Congrats! Yeah as far as I am aware apple doesn't charge unless they're actually ready to ship. In fact they state that directly in the email they sent me when my card didn't authorize:

"Dear Apple Customer,

Thank you for your recent Apple Online Store order.

We are ready to ship your order but your card provider has declined payment for the credit/debit card you provided. To prevent any further delay to your order, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact your card provider to advise them that you have placed an order with Apple so that the payment can be processed.
  2. Visit Order Status to verify your payment, to reattempt authorization, or to make changes to your payment information. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the status to update.
If you are unable to update your payment information online, please refer to our Help Pages.

There is no need to contact us as we will continue to seek payment automatically for the next 7 days. If the issue is resolved during this period, your order will be processed as normal. However, if we are unsuccessful, your order will be cancelled and we will notify you by email.

Sincerely,
Apple Store"

I'm surprised they don't have the US orders moving before the Canadian ones...

Hey thanks. I understand that everyone is looking forward to their phones, and hopefully this news means that even if we aren't getting it at launch, it'll be really soon afterwards!

I didn't know if this was known, but I saw someone on another thread post that her jet black 7+ 128 that she ordered from t mobile was set to arrive on the 16. How can Apple let carriers have them and not have enough for their own online orders

Or maybe I didn't see it. I can't find it now

Here's hoping. 10/4 - 10/10 here with no movement. No UPS tracking/support profile updates.

Ahem, sir, this thread is for those waiting on jet black pluses! :D

Apple is going to think they're under DDoS attack with the amount of times I've refreshed my order status page today. A piece of me dies every time I see the word "processing."

YES! I would love to see a report on how many times people check their order status page. Surprisingly it hasn't crashed yet.
