Another DFW order here...mine switched to Preparing to Ship early this afternoon. JB 7+ 128. Date is still showing 9/26-10/3, but looking more and more like it may be tomorrow.
My charge dropped off a few days after the initial charge. Then I updated cc info no charges have posted at all but I've still updated to Prep4ship
Sales tax. Seems less and less likely they come tomorrow but next week seems like they will arrive. My guess is they shipping these out after the initial launch wave shipped out. No ups tracking or support profile for anyone so far
Yeah but mine isn't shipping till oct 4th so why am I getting billed now then? I'm confused.
Reading all this comments, seeing that people is really upset that they not gonna get iPhone tomorrow, even if their shipping is 9/26-10/3. My iPhone 7 plus 128 GB JB will arive in november... So, you guys should be in really good mood, you getting it probably next week or so.
I usually get a pending charge then it will drop off. Next the charge will show back up and post. Then iPhone would ship.

Conspiracy theory: did Apple possibly change our status to "Preparing for shipment" to avoid a mass cancellation of JB+ phones ahead of tomorrow's launch and people just saying screw the wait, I'll get a different model?

I have had that sneaking suspicion ever since I saw PFS without any charge, support profile update, or tracking info. We shall see soon enough.
I read that they can make well over 100,000 iPhones a day. If they have the components. Your November date will probably end of September. Good luck. I'm 10/4I'm November too
They did that to me for the apple watch, prepare shipping day before launch, shipped like 3 weeks later. But with no plus models tomorrow in stores basically, no reason for them to do it now.
Your iPhone is not moving probably because they doing right now Sep. 26 - Oct 3, a lot of people saying their orders is preparing for shipping. Your order is next "group"
