For the record, UPS can get to almost in city in the US next day when shipping from their Louisville hub. They do this every night. Now I don't think our phones are there, but you never know.

Not to rain on the parade, but wouldn't tomorrows deliveries already be loading onto the trucks, or sometime well before sunrise?

I mail order maybe half my personal stuff and almost everything for my business. every shipment, either overnight or 3 day, etc. gets loaded at 5am 30 miles from my ship to address.

I guess it's a good thing that I live right next to a major UPS hub (DFW) so flights are coming in and out all night.

Well that's the thing, I think they are already in the US. Apple has a few warehouses (one very close to Louisville). This exact same thing happened to me 2 years ago and it never showed tracking until the morning of delivery. The first tracking status was arrived at local UPS facility.

This is the other piece of the puzzle that makes me pretty convinced our phones are going to be in Louisville.

I'm hoping my 7+ JB 256g is on UPS772 arriving at IAH at 4:03am!

I've found something!!!!

This is a list of the flights leaving Louisville. There is a TON of UPS flights leaving Louisville between 2:40am and 5am EDT!!!!

My Jet Black Plus moved to preparing to ship earlier today and my location (buffalo) is on this list! Which goes back to my earlier theory that the reason preparing to ship notifications weren't going in email order is because they were going by location!!! THERE IS HOPE!!!

Please take a look at the list (there is multiple pages) and see if your AirPort is on it. Then post back on the forum if it is or isn't and weather or not your phone is preparing to ship!!!

While this does look good at first glance, it then doesn't seem so good after you think about it. All these flights are going to be landing at 1:00 - 2:00am EDT. They would then have to be sorted, fly to their destination, usually another sorting facility then put on a truck to local UPS centers, and then finally placed on the delivery truck. I just don't see all this happening before 7:00 tomorrow morning.

I remember watching this video once on UPS Worldport in Louisville. If I remember right, they process 1 million + packages a day. Once the plane lands and the packages are unloaded, the packages are sorted in 15 mins and reloaded in 30.

My airport is on it (Philadelphia) and it departs at 3:45am, but still processing... hm.

And based on the UPS system, the label may be created but we won't see it for a few hours.

I'm a 12:04AM confirmation, 128GB JB 7+ from Apple that has been charged, preparing to ship, not on support profile yet, but figured I'd add one bit of hope to us west coast people: Apple has been using OnTrac recently, they do super quick overnight and some same day around CA, UT, NV, and AZ. If some 7+ JB are in a warehouse in Cali they may be going with one of the smaller carriers. A friend got his 7+ case in grey from OnTrac yesterday.

Along with the ups label, the profile is also updated. Anyone see anything there? If we are getting them tomorrow, they should be popping up there too soon
