This has been floating around in the forums for a few hours now, and was shocked that I'm just now seeing it.

This is the direction the next iPhone should be going in.

And yeah, there really is no need for the lip on another mock up thread. This mock up blows the others away.

Could they make the iphone that thin? If that's what it turned out to look like I'd be very happy with it.
 
agree! Shame it does not match the bezel off that chinese site and the matt back we have been seeing for a while. Still, I really hope this is true!
 
Wow very nice looking. The only thing I dislike is the Home button. I don't like how they merged it with the bezel and made it a square. Personally though, I think it would be interesting if Apple made the Home button touch sensitive, like they eventually did to the iPod click wheels.
 
if say, Apple ever released an iPhone that looked like that

i dont think i'd ever buy a case for it, ever. the only reason I have a case for my 3G is because the back scratches like no other and with the previous gen iPhone I left it naked because the aluminum help up well

That looks amazing! I want one. If only that turns out to be a leak and not a mockup. Sad sad times that it isn't.

The thing I do like about a home button like that is that you could theoretically assign different functions to it (right-click, center-click, etc.). I wish they would implement something like this. I'm all for limiting the number of buttons and moving parts but give the buttons some more functionality.

It looks like a single rectangular button.
 
That looks like if they slapped a camera on an ipod touch and then changed the home button.
 
Its been said before in regards to this pic, and i feel the same.

I like this so much, I think whatever they unveil on Monday won't be this nice. Please prove me wrong Apple.

Me. iPhone is pretty solid. And the back scratches so much easier than the front. In fact, I have no scratches on the front, loads on the back.

don't get your hopes up because if you do you will get crushed come monday

remember, Apple has to make tons of these phones and if they made a phone that looked like that....well we can expect 500 threads about LIGHT LEAK, MY SQUARE BUTTON IS CREAKING, RARGHHH APPLE WHY ARE YOU SO CHEAP, etc

I think we will get those threads anyway!! Even if the thing has 720p recording and a front camera, people will say, "uggg I can't believe it's not 1080!" and "the front camera is only 1.3 megapixels, what a joke". :D
