From everything I've read, ssd's are much better in this respect.
Not to mention there aren't any movable parts

They now have the 2nd gen for 449.00.

Absolutely. I'm not touching one until they're at least 320GB. I want 500+ GB though.

I doubt they'll refund. I'll wait for some testing between the first and second gen. I may just opt and buy the 2nd gen as well. I could use the first gen in my 13" uMBP
