Do SSD hard drives have a limited number of times it can write or are they just as good as regular hard drives, durability wise?

Agh! No 320GB! I could've lived with a 250GB version as well. But, 160 is cutting it too small. : (

From everything I've read, ssd's are much better in this respect.
Not to mention there aren't any movable parts

Do you think Amazon will be cheaper? I see they have a page for each up, but no prices yet. Bing.com Cashback knocks $10 if I order from Newegg. Hm....

I've been surviving w. a 128 for quite a while. 160 will be a pretty awesome upgrade, let alone Intel's speed!

I just bought the 1st gen last night for 599 from newegg and it'll be here tomorrow.

They now have the 2nd gen for 449.00.

I wonder if I should return it and get the second gen?

You mean $450? Of course try to return it, or ask for a partial refund.

Absolutely. I'm not touching one until they're at least 320GB. I want 500+ GB though.

    :(

I doubt they'll refund. I'll wait for some testing between the first and second gen. I may just opt and buy the 2nd gen as well. I could use the first gen in my 13" uMBP
