No particular reason but you took the time to do it? That's so weird haha who cares who your carrier is?
That is weird that they did that but in the presence of all the OCD hypochondriac forum members...it could be much weirder lol.

I noticed after upgrading to 8.1 a lot of apps I turned off in background app refresh turned back on after the upgrade. I since turned them back off any my battery life is back where it was which is great. I only have a few health apps on in background app refresh which seem to want that setting on.
My battery life is still excellent on 8.1

Same here, with the 8.1 the battery life on my 6 have really decreased a lot!! I have only unplugged at 5am and it's 9.27 now and I am at 50%. Before I would have had this amount of battery power at 3PM![]()
Wow this is weird. I updated it yesterday evening and had it on charge all last night. I saw this thread so I thought I would check mine and this is what I got...
It was on charge for 8 hours last night. There is no reason for it not to be fully charged.
I have the same odd "100%" even though I have 28 minutes of usage and 2 hours of standby. Think it may be a bug.
On another note, I have "Music, Background Activity" for 5% over the last 24 hours and have no idea what that is, any ideas? I don't have music playing or open or anything.
I think there might be more post-processing going on after the update. Possibly Spotlight indexing, etc. Let it settle back down after a day or so and then you should have a good basis to judge battery life.
