8:10 am EST and Apple Store down again

I have one tab saying processnig information and the other saying the store is down again LOL...
 
This is turning into one huge fail for high-tech Apple. Maybe everyone should turn off their wifi...

This is Effed up. As much as i love apple they are starting to annoy me with this. Why can't they plan for these things in advance? I'm sure if Steve was trying to order Black turtlenecks on line and that site was down he would be mad too :eek:
 
My ATT pre-order went thru fine. Got a order confirmation, email confirmation, etc. Smooth.
 
AT&T's site is borked, too. I went through the upgrade process twice and got error messages. Then I got to the final step but the "Checkout Now" button was grayed out. I saved my cart, and now I can't get back into it.

The new error message says I can call customer service about "non iPhone related upgrade questions." Thanks...
 
anyone been able to go through Apple.com?

So has anybody at all been able to successfully order through Apple.com? I've made it to the cart twice, but then the store went down before i could do anything more. I can't even go through AT&T's website because for some reason its not giving me the option of the iPhone 4 becuase of my FAN account, which doesn't make sense becuase its an individual one and i've checked with Apple and i'm eligible to pre-order at the full subsidized price. Oh well. I guess I'll just keep trying.
 
I guess I am lucky that I got through as easy as I did a half hour ago. It only took a few minutes and now the site is down again.

Yepp, Made it to cart but now checkout is broken!!

Yes, but did you have it shipped to you, or did you choose to pick it up in the store? A lot of in-store people have had success, but almost no one has been able to order it with shipping.
