Solid state buttons sound terrible. You can do some things by feel. How will clicking to take a picture work?

iPhone has usually had very nice clickable buttons. Losing that for something that seems less functional seems like a step down all the way around.

I’d love all of these and don’t mind if we skip this year as a redesign year. The current design is already hands down the best, I would love for them to run it for a 3rd year.

Honestly might get the 14 Pro just to avoid 15 Pro USBC. Only really nice upgrade seems to be the possible zoom camera. There are just too many things (Airpods Pro, Magsafe Battery) that are still using lightning for me.

...that...doesn't make sense...at all. Especially if that USB-C port gets USB 3 speeds for the pro iPhone, you'd be purposefully buying a worse phone just to stay on lightning.

Still a joke that they limit 120Hz to the pro models. Why not limit retina screens to the pro/ultimate models? 🤯
Retina display was very exclusive to iPhone 4. It’s here to stay in all models.

Apple could offer 160Hz to the Pro models. Now we are talking 🫣

Compact size. All these monster sized 6+ inch phones are ridiculous and make you look like an unfashionable goof in public with a huge bulge in your pants.

It's embarrassing how everyone thinks this is NORMAL.
Agreed. I picked up 14 pro and still dislike the weight and thickness. (Heck I thought my 11Pro was a bit cumbersome.) Starting to wonder if having a good camera with me all the time is worth the bulk. IMO Apple is already pushing the limits of what people will hulk around.

Sounding good, will probably upgrade with the 15 - but don't have to, would be a bit of a whim upgrade and if the colors look like they came out of a corporate HR department brochure (like this years) I'll probably pass.

I got a 14pro and thought the 120hz refresh would be something noticeable, I guess for scrolling? But it's really not anything noteworthy IMO. Is it more noticeable for gaming? (Something I seldom do.)

Haha, the "dynamic island" is a feature?
And a taptic engine just to replace a physical button? Sounds like a waste of money.

I think McDonald's should troll Apple by offering a Big Mac Pro Max Plus.
Dynamic Island seemed kinda cool when presented, and when I first got my 11Pro it was interesting, but it really does nothing for me at this point. I see it doing things, but I'm not drawn to use it as a UI at all. Maybe developers will come up with a more interesting usage than Apple?

I think the Pro is going to be the new entry level iPhone and the rumored Ultra will be the high end model starting at $1299
That's a very good point. Apple may just do that since sales for the regular iPhones have been low. Might discontinue the regular models as they did with the iPhone Mini this year. iPhone SE will stay for Apple's Spring event.

2023 iPhone Line up.

iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 15 Ultra
iPhone 15 Ultra Max?
