How is "Same Sizes" a feature (one of the 8 features) for the Iphone 15? What is that? That's like saying everything the same is a feature too.
Lack of innovation so you fluff **** up and blow smoke up peoples A$$.

So basically more RAM and a new CHIP is all they can brag about as they have been doing for 10 years. I remember Microsoft used to release new stuff every 3 months and it was "faster processor" every single time before Jobs took Apple to where it is. Once Jobs came in the picture and changed the world and didn't use this Microsoft formula, they had to change and start innovating.

Apple needs to seriously consider Product Red for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max & Ultra.
Historically Apple hasn’t offered Product Red on their high end products (iPhone Pro, SS Watch). This could be attributed to Apple’s high end products being for more affluent buyers while supporting charity is for… oh wait. 🤦‍♂️

New features? I'm beginning to miss the simplicity of this....

Absolutely. Apple give the money they make off the higher end devices to charity?!? Pffffft… That’s just crazy talk.

Let’s not forget it’s software will have a minor version update shortly after.

Compact size. All these monster sized 6+ inch phones are ridiculous and make you look like an unfashionable goof in public with a huge bulge in your pants.

It's embarrassing how everyone thinks this is NORMAL.

I guess that would be a huge deal to someone who cares and gets the shakes about what other people think about one's phone and pants.

I don't need more or better features for now. I would be happy if they can offer everything in the iPhone 14 Pro but make the body and camera bump thinner without reducing battery life. Not expecting this. It's just what I want.
Same here. I was hoping that tech advances (e.g. more energy-efficient A17) would eliminate the need for brickPhone. But it seems the smaller the processor, the heavier the hardware.

Apple never said they would add USB-C.

They said they would comply.

That's a big difference, and an important difference that I think many here overlook.

They could simply remove the Lightning port and continue to use MagSafe/Qi charging and be in compliance.

Think about it. What is more likely for Apple to do: switch to a new connector for the iPhone, or remove the connector entirely? You know it, I know it, Tim Cook knows it. There will never be USB-C in the iPhone. They will say that this helps with water proofing (just like removing physical buttons) and tout how it saves space inside the device so they could increase the battery and fit the periscope camera. You know that's what's going to happen. Stop pretending you don't.

Apple should really start to use high quality light weight material. Seriously, they are getting heavier and heavier by the year. Or at least make an ultra version out of just Plastik.

If USB-C was coming in the 15 series, it would have already been in the works and not tied to the recent EU ruling.
What seems more likely is that Apple will now take advantage of the EU's 2024 deadline and swamp ports on the 16 model.

That said, with the relatively tame 14 Pro update, Apple could look have already been moving to implement USB-C in the 15 to have some "headline grabber" for the socials.

Look at me, covering all my bases. Look out Kuo, I’m coming for ya. 🤪😂
Yeah I think you are right, I think it will be the 16 model that gets it, I just have a small feeling that a new "big" feature in the 15 pro series will be USB-C.

I'm hoping my poor iPhone 6s plus would last until the 15 comes out. It's running on its last leg now and I want to pull the trigger for a new phone but I really want a usb-c port. More RAM is always nice too.
Just replace the battery. The 6s is still capable of doing everything today.

Sadly, solid state volume and power buttons aren't coming out until iPhone 16, and only on the Pro models. :(

How about this idea: many parts of the world, their iPhone is everything device, instead of a fashion icon or ”bludging“ being of any level of concern for them? How about not putting your iPhone in pants?

Big size iPhone is normal because people expect it to do EVERYTHING, not someone who prefers iPad or Mac over iPhone to do serious work that type of stuff.
Still a joke that they limit 120Hz to the pro models. Why not limit retina screens to the pro/ultimate models? 🤯
The ship has sailed a decade ago, and suddenly limiting screen ppi to pro model would tank Apple’s PR, creating even more drama and protest online. I know Apple is way too big to fail and limiting ppi based on price point won’t hurt them much, but I also believe too many bad things happening can destroy anything, even Apple.
