One of the reasons I swapped my 6s Plus for the 8 Plus was the battery life. It was getting pretty horrid... as in needing a charge after 4-5 hours of music/video streaming at work.

Today was the first day at work with the new phone... and I started non-stop Youtube streaming at 100%...

8 hours later the phone is at...

*drumroll*

45%.

I can't complain about this.

Yes it is indeed awesome. I’m going on 10.5 hours since this morning with 3 hours and 22 minutes of actual screen on time and am at 80%.

Dangit... I can't wait for my 8+ tomorrow! <rubs nose while shaking uncontrollably> :)

My 6s+ had some great battery life - could easily get 2 days of normal usage out of it (normally end a day with 70-80%). I'll be happy if its that or more. lol.

Battery life is fantastic for me. Took it off the charger around 430 am and right now it is at 67%. Basically surfing, emails, etc. But much, much better than my old 6s+.

I received my iPhone 8 plus 256GB two days ago and the battery life is awesome plus the camera is better than my old 6s plus
Even when charging using normal cable it charges faster

Already had samsung wireless pad from before so I tried my 8 Plus on and it worked perfectly

Do you know what battery health you had in the 6S? I have 80% capacity left in my original battery in the 6S+ and it would be fine if it wasn’t for some battery bug in iOS 11... I’m starting to wonder if I’m the only one who has this issue. Sometimes if I just open an app, or switch between two apps, it goes down like 4%..

The phone was 2 years old and battery life was something like 60%... it didn't hold a charge but for 4-5 hours and once it hit 20% it dropped like a rock.

The 8 Plus is great.

I have ZERO complains about the battery life on 8 Plus so far. This thing is a beast and 1/2
I did video shooting, multiple photos, then some slight post editing in another app. Maybe a total of 15-20 min doing this. Battery loss...2%! To me, that is incredible!

If I did the same thing on my old 6 Plus..first of all the apps wouldn't load as fast, editing would not be as fast either and no doubt in the same time span I'd lose at least 10%-15% battery life easily.

I've very happy with this.

I'm impressed. This is good for me! I only charged it for 5-10 mins last night but then thought otherwise so I could drain the battery

This is the only thing that's making me actually want the 8+: all the amazing reports on battery. Still not enough to get me to upgrade from my 7 though ;)

I unplug my 8+ when I wake up around 5 in the morning. I use it all day at work. Checking messages, sending e-mails, browsing web and facebook, streaming music, etc. When I plug it in at night around 10pm I am still at 30-40%. It has crazy good battery life. I had the Pixel before this phone and I would have to plug it in while still at work in the afternoon to get it to last, and then plug it in again when I got home.

Until another update..... lol
[doublepost=1506640530][/doublepost]It's probably because Apple was using that new efficient battery.

First time I’ve been patient enough to let my phone fully charge to 100% since I got it, just took it off the charger and going to leave it all until it’s about dead and see how it does

My 6s + battery was getting pretty rough, barely make it mid day and it would need a charge. I’m a pretty heavy user and do game often but still was never that bad before

See how my ip8 + holds up!
