The rattle is because of the autofocus lens. It has to be movable to change focal points. If it didn't rattle, it wouldn't function. So why is this a problem?

It's not a problem at all. I was just pointing out more missed opportunities to pile on complaints. I like my phone. :)

So, after a week I came to the conclusion that the 5 just isn't a worthwhile upgrade over the 4S for me. <snip>

Stick with the 4S for now guys... The 5 isn't ready for prime time yet and won't be until the 5S is already here ;)

So... got in, tried it out for a week, sold it to make a profit, and I'm back to the better phone for me: the 4S.

p.s. this is only my experience and personal opinion. I don't assume that anyone else feels the same way.

I agree completely. I've done the very same thing after finding my iPhone 5 somewhat of a dud (both the original and it's replacement). Returning to my ultra reliable, fun & fast iPhone 4S running iOS 5.x.x, I'm enjoying it more than ever.

The presence of Google Maps alone is huge. I had no idea how great this mapping app is until I had the "Apple Maps" experience. So until the next iPhone is released, I'm in great shape.

Compared to iP5, iP4S is simply stellar.

I know what you mean. When I saw this thread title and then notice the OP, I rolled my eyes. I felt like he was on here to just yank peoples' chains.

Me too... I clicked on it expecting something ridiculous, as we had seen from him in the past. And when I saw that he got banned, I wasn't surprised.

Totally agree with the OP - especially about the size issue - Apple go on about it fitting in your hand - if that's the case, move the buttons in Mail from the top of the screen to the bottom where the ones you use most should be.

I had one for a few days too - and I was not impressed - and I have Apple everything. So I will continue to use my 4S, alongside an S3 that I use for it's truly unlimited data, and with my trusty communications powerhouse, a BB 9900.

I love gadgets too - especially Apple ones! What a shame.

Another user trying to justify his decision with a thread explaining why he did what he did.

Whatever man, enjoy your 4S!

I hear you.
It started to get old after a while.
Ok tell us your opinion or whatever and move on. But not every single day with a trollbait thread and then calling names and arguing with others that disagree with him cause they enjoy their iphone 5.

They're just looking for approval. Serious personality issues I guess!

It's funny cause every new iPhone that comes out has the hype of being the best iPhone yet and people feel let down when the phone doesn't seem to be as revolutionary as they wanted or imagined. Funny thing is the number of people who took their 4 back and stuck with the 3Gs because the ip4 didn't offer much over the 3Gs, even though the 4 was a redesign as is the ip5.

The ip5 does have some shortcomings but I find it by far a better iPhone than anything that Apple has previously released.

Some medication would help probably:)

These might suffer digestivegate though...

I did not even bother myself to buy 5, pointless for me. I understand, that majority will prefer it to 4s, but it kinda makes me laugh when I look at 150 pages of scratch butthurt thread. It was obvious that alu would scratch, especially anodized version, so what was the point to buy black one? :D
