I think they get it right for a majority, or good enough to keep people from creating these types of threads. :p

Jesus, I dread to think what it would be like if Apple got it 'wrong' in that case.

They've improved with iOS 9 for more people.

Yeah I heard all about the debacle over iOS 8 but I only come back to Apple in April this year. Before that it was back when I had a 4s before the 5 came out.

iOS 8 and 7 as well.

Yep, too bad. I think they really need to survey properly the millions of users to find out. No different than an anecdotal poll here on macrumors.

That would be pointless. Basis for the opinions would be well beyond a std bell curve. More like a splatter graph o_O
  • In a poll I would give my viewpoint
  • In a poll my daughter would give hers "I know it does that. I just wait or do something else till it shows right."
Though valid, both views start with a different assumption.

If you want to see missing functionality, check out the iOS 9 Podcasts app. On an iPad it cannot play full screen video. Apple Support says use the 3rd party Downcast app instead. Unbelievable.

Six months after iOS9 broke the ability to play full screen video podcasts on an iPad, this is finally fixed in iOS 9.3. Any users who were forced to switch to 3rd party apps like Downcast can now consider switching back to the built-in Podcasts app, or maybe by now they are so used to the 3rd party apps they will just keep using them.
