Just wanted to start a thread for those of us with the delivery range of 9/29-10/2. I thought it would be easier to communicate in our own thread so that we can see if our delivery date starts to get bumped to 9/21.

I ordered a 44mm SSB around 3:06 EST and got the confirmation email at 3:08 EST.

I am really hoping that it will get bumped and it will arrive on Friday.

I attempted to order the 44MM SS at 3AM EST but the app wouldn't update until 3:03AM EST. Once I got in, I ordered the damn thing at 3:04AM (quick using Apple Pay) only to discover that the shipment date had already been pushed back to 9/28 - 10/2. I thought my order went in later but I double checked to see that I received my confirmation email at 3:06AM EST.

I've been hoping that the shipment would be coming in earlier (as that happened last year with my iPhone X) but it doesn't seem like it's happening. I double checked my order status and it says that the "item will take longer than usual to ship." It's still stuck in processing. I even made various attempts to see if it had prepared to ship on UPS (using different reference numbers) but it's a no go. Just going to wait the extra week and not get my hopes up. Still excited to get it in my hands.

same as others here, got the email as 3:10. apple store didn't open up a 3am for me it took at least 4 min, and by that time the dates already slipped. its Monday so still hoping it gets moved up a little, otherwise stuck waiting the week or trying to go to the apple store for one (and that would be a nightmare so dont really want to go that route)

I wanted to do the watch by itself and then the rest, because I figured it might be more constrained, but for the credit card, it was better to have everything together so I could go up to the 18 month interest-free threshold. My confirmation email is from 3:08am, but I had ordered by 3:05am already. Phone is set for Friday, Watch (44 SS Gold) is 9/28-10/2. Wondering what the odds might be of them having the watch in stock on launch day at the store, considering they're no longer doing in-store pick ups in my area for any new orders.

I didn’t receive an email about a delay. However, I am seeing the following message under my Watch order.

I have that same message under mine. I don't know that it means a delay beyond the 9/28-10/2 window. I think it means you ordered it last week and it's taking longer to ship that usual, given when you preordered it.

As in, it would otherwise be shipping to arrive on launch day, but your order is pushed back until after launch, which we all already knew was happening, given the dates.

It is entirely possible that we might be able to find these for sale in store, be it Apple or some other store, before our original orders ship. I'll probably wait for mine, but I might get impatient and find one elsewhere, if they can be found.

Oh, no! I’m not going anywhere near the Apple store this Friday. I can wait till next week.

Oh, I doubt I will, either. But, they usually calm down a few days after launch so I just set up stock notifications in case of shipping delays.

A huge typhoon just hit Hong Kong and China so I’d expect that may affect shipping times too. Stocks for this Friday’s release were probably received in each launch country last week.

Was thinking the same. Any launch day stock was probably already in the staging centers.

In this boat as well - 44mm SS with cellular. A bit annoyed because it definitely said 9/21 on the page at first, and then the confirmation gave this later window. Ordered it after completing my iPhone purchases for myself & wife at 3:01am, but oh well... at least my wife is getting her Sports one this Friday!

For whatever it is worth, I did order a Nike band with my watch and it moved from 9.24 - 9.26 to 9.21 - 9.25. My watch still remains 9.28 - 10.2 - hoping that it will move as well. Still monitoring stock at local stores come Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I’m curious to know if anyone ordered a SS watch and got a 9/21 delivery date?

My order confirmation is for 12:07 PT, and I’m also in the 9/28-10/2 boat (44mm gold SS).

Honestly, I did not order at 12:03 or 12:04 BECAUSE I was looking for an in-store option. I regret that deeply. My confirmation was 12:09AM and am hoping it slips up next week.
