Considering our watches are still direct from China during launch, the typical timeline is that your order physically leaves the factory when you get "preparing to ship" and it actually begins shipping 24-48 hours later but the Apple website doesn't update and give you a tracking number until around 24 hours prior to delivery...but you can track by reference number by taking the Apple order number and cutting off the last two digits. So, in theory, we should be able to see our watch orders show up via Tracking by reference in the next 24 hours or so with deliveries early/middle of next week.

It was in the apple iPhone thread, she said she was 9/28-Oct 2nd, and shows Monday delivery, hope that is correct!

Got the email @ 12:08 (PDST) for my 44m SS/white preorder, was given delivery date 9/28-10/2. I am still Order in Progress. UPS and Fed Ex got nothin’. My cards are not yet charged...

C’mon apple. Turn my frown upside down.

I don’t believe anyone with a 44mm SS order got a 9/21 date when they ordered. Feels like a small delay.

I wonder if anyone got a pick up at store option for 9/21 but a 9/28 delivery date? I don't seem to recall a pick up at store option when I ordered the Apple Watch (unlike the XS Max where I had a 9/21 pick up at store option).

Same, I didn't see one when I ordered. Just said pick up unavailable. Assume it's because the SS has a super limited supply. But, I also don't recall seeing store pickup for ANY watch models.

Correct, she mentioned two phones and then the watch, didn't say which model though. Should start showing up for others soon as it is preparing to ship, but nothing for me yet.

For those still waiting Best Buy just loaded same day pickup into the system. Just cancelled my preorders and got 2 SBSS 44 and will get them today!

My 44mm Gold SS estimate delivers Sep 28 - Oct 2 is still under order in progress status... Sad...

Typically 24-48 hours. As it is the weekend coming, who knows. I think we will all get these by early next week though, not bad, unless lots of stock at stores tomorrow.

My 44mm gold SS which had a 9/28-10/2 delivery date just showed up in China with a delivery date of tomorrow (technically today because it’s after midnight here)!
