the seemingly lackluster response to the 12.9 pro (regular sales, resale value for used is really low), I kind of hoped Apple would want to price correct it down by $100, which would have meant the 9.7" pro at $499
The seemingly lackluster response is two fold;
1 - Apple missed the market, A 13" iOS device priced as a full featured OS has a smaller market.
2 - The smaller format and light weight is what made the iPad the force it is/was.
The "Pro" market wants a 13" fast, full featured file system, access without restriction to all their files, mouse, touch (not so much), display, portability, storage (local and cloud) and long battery life.
A Pro Device can truely multi-task, hook up to multiple screens, do serious video editing, Photoshop, and more. iOS just doesn't have the HP yet.
The 9.7" "Pro" is just the further evolution of the ARM based iOS device and people will love it for what it is.
