So with all these threads about freezing(mine has), dents, screen color issues, etc, I really wanted to get an idea for how many new i5/i7 MBP owners are having some type of problem with their machine.

Perhaps these rev A's aren't doing so well

Simple, thanks

Scratch from production line:

and now, the wide spread freezing thing (wich I'm pretty shure that it's a problem for ALL the i5/7 machines, all of them without exception).

So, taking it back soon.

Problem is, that I'm a developer, and cause all those problems on Rev A, I don't trust them anymore. So what I get now to develop?
Mac mini? iMac?
There have been problems too with the new iMac, isn't it?

Maybe a mini is a good idea for now, and when Rev B comes, will be time to get a MBP...

My screen color issue is relatively minor, yet apple have been awesome in their handling of it :)

My battery seems to be a dud and the screen isn't very bright. Probably gonna exchange today.

Yeah, not really though. I have 3 co-workers with an i5 and another with an i7, all of which have not experienced a single freeze thus far.

Personally, I had a lot more issues with my 2.66 C2D machine.

lol did you seriously just make that bold of a generalization? We would be hearing about it all over the internet and apple would issue a recall if EVERY machine without exception had a freezing problem.

Yeah I have.

First one gave me kernel panic every 5-10 minutes and it was not fixed by wiping the hard drive and re installing OSX and Apple Hardware test didn't bring back any results.

Second one some of the speaker holes were not cut out properly.

This is my third Macbook Pro and this one is fine.

Mine is complete perfection. I love it. The hr screen rocks, and not a single dead or stuck pixel. Not a scratch on the aluminum either.

I was thinking maybe in the range of 10%

over 20 people now and still over 25% have some issue.

Edit now 30

I can understand that all the people with i5/i7 with no problems, have to be praying God as hard as they can... I'm pretty sure that a lot of you, give a "goodnight-kiss" to your MBP, everytime you go bed...

But you can see, facts talk by themselves...
Problem here it's not about the minor-medium problems (yellow screen, heat, speakers...) wich can be easly solved by getting new computer in the 14-days-range.
BIG PROBLEM here, is somethin' that suddenly started to appear, and it's growing faster, wich are the non-understandable-freezings.
THAT'S the problem. Cause right now, you're in the "PUREEEE PERFECCCTIOOOOOONNNNONONONO OM NOM NOM NOOOM" zone, but in a ****ing hour and a minute, you're in the "HOLY ****ING ****, APPLE! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" zone.

I think you guess so...

Who invited this guy? Somebody is bitter ha.

Nah. No drugs. Just angry for the 2000 expended dollars.

Just remember this moment. Your posts. Your answers here. Saying "pure perfection". I really hope that you don't come back here again with another "kind of answer" and most important, editting your present posts.

And I really hope this, because this will mean that I still having options to get a PURE PERFECTIOOOOOON i7 MBP.
