It's flexible, but not stretchy. The clear part is polycarbonate and the black is rubber. I just slid/snapped it on, like a normal case. It's a very tight fit... no wobbling or loose edges at all.
I ordered it from the scosche website. The black part isn't that sticky kind of rubber, so no dust/lint problems.
Is the back exposed or is that a clear cover? How does the volume and power button feel?? I have the Belkin clear vue that is nice, but the buttons are VERY hard to press. Plus, there is a glare on pics used with a flash in low light because of the camera cut out
The back is exposed, like a bumper. The buttons are a little difficult to press. Power button is ok, but the volume keys are pretty hard.
Compared to the Apple bumper, what's the "off the table" lift like? (if that is what it's called)
I was interested in the Apple bumper (for the wife) until I saw that it "lifted" the glass off the table only very minimally. I like more offset (like my Incipio NGP) for those inevitable face-down landings.

Pretty minimal, but enough to protect the phone from a drop (on a flat surface, of course) ... maybe a little over 1mm.
Here's some pics of the black+clear bandEDGE. Definitely nicer than Apple's bumper! I like it
Don't like the logo on the side, however.
Thanks for the pics. The logo is ugly as ****, but its cheaper and more stylish than the apple bumper. Anyone know if this is compatible with sgp's leather skin guard? I think the black with black leather would be deadly sexy.

I used nail polish remover. BUT ...WARNING: it also removes some of the sheen from the polycarbonate. It's not very visible, but it's just slightly less shiny than the rest of the band. Still better than the stupid logo, IMO.

The back is exposed just like the apple bumber so unless your using some kind of skin with this Scosche it shouldn't have any effect on the flash.
^Yes, it had the screen protectors included. I didn't have them on when I took the pics, but I have them on now. They're alright. No bubbles or anything but it's fingerprint city.
was it a dry install ? and also, do they peel off when you have the bumpers on ? i'm planning to order one too ...
Yeah, dry install. I expected them to lift up when I put the bandEDGE on because it's a pretty tight fit, but they stayed put. Still bubble-free.
