When the first images of the next generation iPhone were released in April, the first reaction of many readers was that it must be a iPhone counterfeit or clone from China. As more details emerged, it became clear that the leaked phone was definitely an Apple prototype and ultimately returned to Apple.

Based on the numerous leaks, it appears that the real Chinese counterfeiters have had time to ramp up their efforts and created this 4th generation iPhone clone. This one's officially called "GPS-PHONE" accoding to PCOnline.com.cn and offers a number of features including a front facing camera, a TV antenna, mini USB interface, and camera flash.

The device even comes with its own iPhone-like interface and supports installation of Java apps.

that just looks so big and bulky....Thank goodness that Apple's will look much better. In fact i would laugh if Apple released a different style of the phone.

There's a guy at my work who bought one of these (not this specific design) off of ebay.

The software is truly, and hilariously, craptastic.

So this is the version the Foxconn workers who are building the actual 4th gen iPhone get to buy?

If they're going to go so far as to rip off the actual icon graphics, couldn't they at least swipe a half-decent font while they're at it? Good lord that text is fugly (never mind that it's truncated in most cases).

They spent hours and hours to develop this and they couldn't change that hideous font?

all this needs is a transistor style A.M. band radio built into it and it would be PERFECT.... perfect to be sold in dollar stores in a cardboard blisterpack, complete with some off brand chinese AA batteries included. I imagine a hole cut in the packaging with a sticker pointing to the antenna stating "Try Me"

It was only a matter of time. Sadly there are some people will buy these fakes not knowing it's a fake (a sweet grandmother buying something nice for their grandchild). We had a few ipods come into the store and it was tough to say um this it not an actual ipod.
