Wow amazing such a blatant ripoff is allowed to exist... now we see the value (loss of value) of the "lost" iPhone to Apple.

It's a clone war.

Who cares about the build/garbage/looks of this.

The bigger story is that it represents a product that :apple: hasn't even announced yet. Wonder what Steve has got in store.

Has this ever happened before on a leaked product from apple? I think not; and this very evidence is perhaps why Apple may go for Gawker's jugular.

There's a guy at my work who bought one of these (not this specific design) off of ebay.

The software is truly, and hilariously, craptastic.

I know of a guy that bought one when he was in China, thinking that it was real

He then got hopelessly confused when he brought it back to NZ and found that it stopped working (frequency mismatch?).

i odnt even know where to buy this aside from ebay

i doubt these are aimed at the market you are living in, stuff like this gets sold on street markets all over asia and africa.
the producers are hardly trying to make a perfect clone (eg they've added an antenna, they've renamed it etc ) they are making something cheap which is aimed at customers who desire something cool and western, yet could never afford an real iphone in their lifetime

Just goes to show how much better Apple's designs are after seeing crap like that.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

Antenna? Are they coming back?

Stunning

 I can't tell the difference from the real thing!

Can I load it with all my purchased apps?

We cannot even get Flash to work on Apple, or AT&T to work well without dropped calls, so..... maybe this phone isn't much worse. And it has an Antenna, so maybe works well in NY & SF...... along with the removable battery to make up for Flash Battery Drain....:)
