Great post! I think I'm going to end up changing my mind 100 times before preorder!

This post is really making me consider getting a SS model

I'm still debating and through all of my google image search I came across some photos I hadn't seen before, figured others might enjoy but its not making my decision any easier on which model to purchase.

This is my #1 choice but not sure if I can justify the price tag for a gen 1 model, option #2 is 42mm Space Grey

THANKS A LOT. I was just calming down when those pictures made me crazy excited again. The SS is beautiful. The sports band even looks decent. I could live with that a while if the link is back ordered for some reason.

I think the SS would drive me crazy with all those finger prints showing. I'm going with the Space Grey sport watch.

I'm thinking of the same 2 watches too. I like the SS, but not sure about the black spot on the digital crown. I like the Milanese Loop because it is infinitely adjustable and also able to "breathe" during hot humid days. I don't like to wear a watch that's in complete all-around contact with my wrist. It feels too binding. I like it loose with a tiny gap between the watch band and my wrist. Anyway, the Milanese style band is floppy (not rigid like the Sports band) if not worn completely in contact all-around with my wrist. Do you think I can wear the Milanese Loop securely/comfortable if I wore it loosely such that I could slip in an index finger?

My second choice is the SS with black Sport band. A close third is the Space Grey Sport. It seems the Sport line is making a compromise on the display as well as on the back, as the SS has sapphire on the front and ceramic on the back.

Dam, that thing is gorgeous. Those of you saying the Apple watch is ugly have no taste. You're single minded and can't find the beauty in things are against the norm. This watch will grow tremendously on people.

I picture myself fumbling too much with the Milanese loop. The link ones once fitted properly slip on easily. I DO think the Milanese loop will look GREAT on the right people. My hands (size 14 rings) and wrists (195mm) are huge and I just think the Milanese will not look good on me.

Don't worry about fingerprints. Buff it on your shirt.

I AGREE. I think these pictures show it off better than any I have seen.

To each their own I suppose, but I have yet to see a picture of what I assume is the 42mm and not thought "wow that thing looks awkwardly huge on that person's wrist."

Wrist size is a factor, but thats why we have the option of 38mm is 42mm is too big for some.

The bands are all gorgeous but honestly I'm not sure that I like the reflective stainless steel on a watch. I'd prefer a more matte stainless steel finish

In the first shot with the Milanese Loop on a wrist, is the end almost back to the crown? I love the look of that band, but with smaller wrists, under 150mm, I am wondering how it will look.

That's my first choice as well, I love the Milanese loop, but I too am not sure I want to justify that expenditure for the gen 1 product. I'd have to buy a separate sport strap as well, as the Milanese is a bit too dressy for casual situations. I think I'll be going for the 38mm regardless; I put my 1965 Bulova Accutron on top of the 38mm face on the Apple Store app, and it pretty much fits. I prefer the more understated men's sizing of vintage watches, especially as I have slimmer wrists. It's hard to know how much screen real estate I'll be losing though.

Thank you "saving107" for posting this and the sport one. Makes all the difference in the world to see these on real hands. Much appreciated. :)

That's a good point, with the Milanese Loop you have to adjust it everytime you put it on. And when you put it on you have two free flapping halves that need to be put together.

I picture myself fumbling too much with the Milanese loop. The link ones once fitted properly slip on easily.

After putting a lot of thought between SS with Milanese loop vs classic buckle I think I'm going to go with the classic buckle because it goes with what I wear most of the time which is jeans and a casual top. I think the Milanese loop is too dressy for every day wear or to even go run with.

42mm SS Space Black with Link Bracelet :D

Its great that one works just fine on a woman. I just don't see the point for myself to get Black Stainless Steel. Coloring it just misses the point for me. BUT, that IS a great looking watch.
