Looks to me the `2nd meeting room` is actually from Ive`s lab. Behind, you can see a roller door where they possibly haul machinery and equipment.

That bright natural sunlight doesn't go all that well with glares galore headache inducing glass imacs that the world has had to suffer through for the past 5 or so years. Hence the white matte imacs...

Who needs anti glare right Tim? You can just turn the angle of your monitor to avoid it... what hypocrites...

Not really, the ipad is on a big poster.

I'd venture a guess that some of these pictures are rather old. Considering one is a room full of people using PowerBooks and another has what looks like a poster for an iBook and g5 iMac posters in the background

----------

The more I look at these pictures it seems like they just found them around the web and posted them all. The iPhone antenna testing pics are from someone else, the picture of Ive is from an apple ad

----------

Old or not, last I checked they were still using those matte white iMacs. I was there for a week in August last year and they hadn't yet upgraded.

If they still perform there duties why replace them?

Man, I would give an arm and a leg to be able to visit Johnny Ive's design studio.
So . . . . Apple should do a show at say the LA Science Museum. Apple designs that died a sad but true death. Just to be compliant with Apple Security, chose the top 40 designs that are out of bounds or out of time. People would come to see death reborn.

Have an on-site Apple Store kiosk farm.

Incredible photos. Apple truly is the most amazing corporation the world will ever know. Each and every Apple employee is uniquely blessed to have the opportunity to play a small role in such an unbelievable story.

You are right, still I don't think anyone could use a glassy imac with that kind of bright sunlight from the top. :)

Looks like something from the 80s. No WOW factor at all. Looks like better working conditions at FoxConn. Apple suck imo

You can't wander the halls unless you're senior staff?

Man, that would kinda suck.

What are you talking about? I walked all over campus. Certain areas required different levels of clearance, to be sure, but I had need to be in several buildings and traveling from Building 1 to 5, to 6 and more wasn't a problem. If I needed to meet anyone in a specific building in Engineering [coming over from Professional Services] I coordinated with them.

Regardless whether the photos are older, it is a joy to see inside HQ! The wireless lab is pretty cool! What about what looks to be CNC machines behind J.I. in the last photo? They must R&D the aluminum cases in HQ! I wasn't expecting manufacturing equipment in Cupertino. :)

Read the article. Yes, I know it took forever to load, but in the article, it clearly states that you couldn't "wander the halls" unless you were senior staff.

If it's not true, great, that's actually what I would expect, and the article is in error.

The latest quote is that it's one kidney.

Worship much? That's really over the top - and Apple has a fair turnover since in the valley it doesn't have a reputation as a great place to work.

Maybe in the "era of Tim" that will be fixed....

The reception desk uses old iMacs nice...

These photos are from around the web meaning some of them are 4-5 years old. Those iMacs couldn't even run Lion.

Apple has the cash to keep its equipment up to date. They just opened that store in England somewhere a week before the iPad 3 but they installed 40 or 50 iPad 2's to be used just for a week as the display stands.....

interesting. We have a pool table where I work along with free coffee, chips and granola bars in the kitchen. We also get donuts and croissants for breakfast on fridays.

So I'm surprised that employees have to pay for food in the cafeteria at Apple.

Ah, Steve photo. :(
How many of these photos are actually *new*?

All of these photos are new to me!

The most amazing corporation...ever? I love everything about Apple's products, I think they make the best computers I've ever used, but to say they are the most amazing corporation in history is a bit much.

Although, the way their stock is performing lately... :)
