Rocking the silver iPhone X love the design and the screen is just wow.

The fluid swipe gestures so much easier than using a home button. And I never thought that would be the case but it is. Reachability a lot easier for me to use.

Like someone said waiting for some devs to support the screen an then it’s conpletely golden. There’s no going back to phat bezels phones for me.

I had the 8+ and just got my Silver 256 X yesterday. Really enjoying it so far. The notch isn't as bad as I was expecting and it sort of blends in the background once you start using the phone. Face ID has worked very fast so far and I haven't experienced any issues. I don't miss the big bezels on the + or having to lug that beast around in my pocket. It's great to open apps with Face ID. Can't wait for more of them to get updated with that feature.

Only thing that bothers me is when I go back the the previous page in safari by swiping. It takes a long time to realize it and it won’t let me swipe up or down until it finally settles in. So a lag in between.

It's usually reloading the previous page, which seems to be an unwanted characteristic of iOS 11.

Had it 24 days now, and thoroughly enjoying it. Feel sorry for the naysayers who either don't have one and believe everything they read about it or the ones who haven't given it a chance. Obviously it is not for everyone, so much negativity about FaceID, so much mis-information about the security. For the rest of us, enjoy!

Just got mine a few hours ago I absolutely love this phone. Best phone I’ve had. Came from galaxy s8. Screen looks so much nicer on this phone.

so nice to have a positive thread!
thumbs up to X!
I haven’t dropped once whereas the 6 and 6s pluses, I dropped often, slippery little suckers they are.
clear silicone case from Luvvitt helps! ;)

...I just hate reaching up for the notification centre on the top right - they need to sort that out - for one handed use.

Try this workaround: go to Settings > General > Accessibility > turn on Reachability

The gesture is swipe down from the Home bar—this brings down the screen halfway, specifically it brings down the top right corner of the screen, then swipe down from there to access Control Center (not Notification Center).

I'm very pleased by the X. Its not perfect, but what is?

Great phone, has a premium feel, performance is great and all the features that I was expecting have exceeded my expectations. I did run into a bump in the road with FaceID early on but that has smoothed itself out, once I turned off facial awareness (or whatever that setting is)

I absolutely love mine! Gotta be honest, I was a bit sceptic about some things at first. The color for example: I wanted Silver, but after days of not being able to reserve that one I decided to go for Space Gray. Never disliked the color, but I thought silver looked simply more 'classy'. Good thing I chose Space Gray after all, because I do like the color now. In fact, it looks better on the iPhone X than it does on my iPhone 8 Plus, that I can tell you. And despite the ever bigger screen it feels almost like my old iPhone 7. Yet it has almost everything - plus a lot more - from the iPhone 8 Plus.

OLED: Amazing, with a capital 'A'. I've seen OLED displays before, but actually having a phone with it yourself is different. I watched this YouTube video with 4K HDR and it looked phenomenal! The immersive experience makes it even better. Easily one of the best features of the iPhone X.

Was sceptic of Face ID as well, but it turns out it works great! Yes, there are moments where it doesn't work immediately, but most of the times that's because I hold my iPhone too close to my face. Anyway, what I also like about Face ID (and TrueDepth in general I guess) is how much more convenient autofill for accounts works in Safari now. And the feature where notifications are hidden until you unlock your phone is a nice one too.

Wasn't sure about the gestures either, but I've got used to it pretty quickly. I find myself swiping on other iPhones constantly now. :p I think it feels more natural and faster as well, compared to using the home button.

Performance is top-notch, but since I've had the iPhone 8 Plus already no new stuff there. As for the camera: the wide-angle lens is exactly the same, but the telephoto lens has notably improved. And portrait mode with portrait lighting on the front camera works better than expected, as long as there's enough light.

I'm happy with this phone. More than just that in fact. Glad I upgraded from iPhone 8 Plus, even though my initial plan was not to do so and wait it out until the next model. This really is a good phone. :D

I received my iphone x yesterday. I had nearly devoured youtube video's about the iphone X and using this phone from out of the box was easy for me. No real learning curve now. I have no complaints at all.

Good to see so many happy posts! After 5 days I'm every day even happier than the day before! battery seems to be getting better (today i'm still at 60% after 13h standby and 5h of usage) and everything works great. No failures at all with FaceID!

I’m coming from a Samsung S8+ and an IPhone 7 Plus “team” and I like how the X combines a lot of what I liked about my S8+ (big immersive display) with what I like about my 7 Plus (iOS in general and good solid feel and flat display—not a fan of the curved edges on my Samsung). I still am using my old phones a bit each day because I’m nuts that way, but I do love the X. I just wish battery life were better but I think Animal Crossing is killing it.

I was very fortunate and got a really nice silver X with none of the flaws reported in various threads. Sound is good, it works well, the display has no serious color shifting to speak of and so far, keeping my fingers crossed, I see no camera dust.

I’m really enjoying wireless charging. The X actually works better with my Samsung charging puck than my S8+ does. My S8+ has to be set down just right to make contact. It’s not difficult to do, and I never really noticed or thought of it as fussy until I got the X and saw how much more fast and fluid the X is to make contact and start charging.

Thrilled with mine, I can finally say I'm satisfied with the hardware. Well almost, I still wish for a larger sized one and can't wait for the X-plus.

I got my iphone x yesterday. First thing I did was put the screen protector on it and my otterbox before I even powered it on. I am not taking chances with this getting damaged. I have had many iphones and this one amazes me. First off it completely connected to Verizon without my doing anything except typing in my Apple ID and my phone number. That was it. I was like surely it isn't connect already but it was. The speed of this phone amazes me. I did have to download 11.1.2 right away. I am in love with this phone.
