Never realized I had this many apps, but as you can tell I enjoy finding greatly developed shareware and some times freeware software and supporting it.

As for my current needs I use the following 3rd party apps:

- Acqlite (P2P, shares the limewire network)
- Adium (for msn, facebook, yahoo chat)
- AppCleaner (only for SmartDelete I fell in love with this app)
- HandBrake (use it to convert .dvdmedia format to .mp4)
- Little Snitch (to take control over your apps connections)
- OpenOffice.org (the best way to go if you don't have Office Mac yet)
- RipIt (as the name implies rips dvd's on your Mac, very easily)
- Tofu (for reading documents files, ebook reader)
- Transmission (excellent torrent service)
- UnRarX (to uncompress .rar files on your Mac)
- VLC (to view all kind of video formats)
- xPad (works like a notePad but it doesn't require to save to keep your notes alive, plus is more comfortable thank stickies)

12. AppCleaner
11. WriteRoom
10. CrossOver Mac
9. 1Password
8. TextMate
7. Transit
6. VLC
5. Dropbox
4. Things
3. Caffeine
2. Quicksilver
1. TotalFinder

8. TextMate
I like textmate but it seems that the author isn't really doing much in terms of updating the product. I hate to drop 60 bucks on an editor that isn't going to be updated. The promised 2.0 upgrade was way back in 2006. I use bbedit, but textmate starts up faster and is a bit more svelte.

Yeah... I'm still waiting! haha. I don't use TextMate as intensively and heavily as some coders/programmers may or would. I love being able to SSH into my Linux server and instead of using nano, or quickly change parameters in my PHP files using TextMate to edit the files. I've used BBedit a little, but yeah, TextMate does start up so quick and is slim.

I checked before I asked. It doesn't say and there's no FAQ page or anything...should only take 2sec for anyone who has it to check what displays when on the radio.

Bowtie works with Last.FM.
Or so it says, I've never used the feature.
My iTunes is more than enough for my music needs.

I have added another powerful program: Tinderbox. It is a note taking application with analysis and diagramming capability, scripting, etc. It grows as you grow in understanding it and tapping into its power.

I dont really have a need for 1password so I store my passwords, serials and notes if i need to in Yojimbo (can still encrypt)

You have no idea what you are missing. I previously used Yojimbo for passwords...but that means constantly manually looking up info and entering.

1Password automates all that.

Coda from Panic - Really useful to code websites, because you can edit and preview in the same window.

coconutBattery - I like that it shows beside the capacity of the battery how old your Mac is.

VLC - I use it only because it supports a lot of codecs.

I have a high affinity to Apple apps: iPhoto, iWeb, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, iWork, XCode and all the Mac OS X apps.

That's all. Oh wait, I forgot to mention my own app. I use it every day.
