Oops, good morning gentlemen, speaking of cloudflare, is it normal for this little guy to freeze the snow leopard browsers? Every site I enter if it has cloudflare the pet doesn't load....Does anyone happen to know how the Snow Leopard dictionary app expects Wikipedia results to be formatted?
The app is making requests like this:
https://search.wikimedia.org/?site=wikipedia&lang=en&search=earth&limit=31
Whatever that API endpoint is, it doesn't seem to exist anymore. (And the HTML that gets returned instead actually causes the Snow Leopard dictionary to crash!)
I can redirect these requests somewhere else, including to a custom Cloudflare worker which returns results in whatever format the app wants, but I don't even know what format the results should be in since the API is down and I can't watch what the app does.
Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately Cloudflare does a bunch of fingerprinting magic to try to detect bots.Oops, good morning gentlemen, speaking of cloudflare, is it normal for this little guy to freeze the snow leopard browsers? Every site I enter if it has cloudflare the pet doesn't load....
Is there anything I can do to get around?Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately Cloudflare does a bunch of fingerprinting magic to try to detect bots.
Probably not unfortunately, because if you could then so could all the bots.Is there anything I can do to get around?
Yes Man, I use the latest released version of Interweb for OSX 10.6.8, unfortunately if the site has this cloudflare identification, I already give it to access it because I know the browser will crash.Probably not unfortunately, because if you could then so could all the bots.
This happens even with something relatively more modern like InterWeb?
Also, if you're using a VPN or similar make sure not to do that!
Is there any particular reason you don't want to switch to https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/aqua-proxy-fix-connection-issues-on-os-x-10-6-10-9.2459969/ so you can use Apple Mail?Someone knows another mail app that is just like Apple's Imail, I don't like to use Thunderbird, I find your interface very polluted, I'm sad to have been bad in the native OSX app.
Oops my friend, I had not seen your new post, I will move there immediately and start testing with the new Aqua Proxy. Is there any particular reason you don't want to switch to https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/aqua-proxy-fix-connection-issues-on-os-x-10-6-10-9.2459969/ so you can use Apple Mail?
hello my friend, mountain lion not working the imessage, because problem is ssl.I've managed to log into iCloud in settings, even the App Store works, however trying to log into iMessage gives me a connection error. Any fixes? I am running OS X Mountain Lion, by the way.
