Since there doesn't seem to be anything left for the even that hasn't leaked, you may as well just leak their powerpoint slides so we know what order things are getting announced.

As if anyone at Apple would use Powerpoint …

To be honest, I cared a lot about the raw power of my phone when I used to game of it. Unfortunately mobile games developed have turned into that despiseful, ad-ridden; watch a video to get an extra live freemium model and basically I lost all interest to game on it. For common tasks, I think current devices are quite powerful and most users with a 7 won’t notice any difference.

If anything the new iPhone X will attract people based on the form factor update and new OLED screen, but I don’t think speed is that big of a selling factor anymore. And that’s not a negative thing, current iPhone are beasts already.

My iPhone 6s is still a great phone when it comes to speed, so you're right when you say that speed is the main selling factor. The average customer doesn't even know what the A11 is, and may just find out the new model is slightly faster than the old one he replaced.
Wireless charging, better camera, new design, those are the selling points.
But I'm really looking forward to this new A11, for power consumption and performances. Machine learning is a big thing, so is AR. I don't say it is the main selling point to me, but I'm more interested in the A11 than wireless charging or the new design

Apple doesn't utilize the iphone's full capability. It's not the consumers fought. Other phones can do split screen, PIP, VR, convert to a PC, HDMI/mhl support, multitasking, real file manager, mouse/trackpad support, and stylus capabilities and still get stellar ratings and reviews. Apple forces it's fans to support face recognition and AR. Seriously besides the OLED screen and heavily criticized design. This is not that much of a upgrade. In terms of Touch ID, it may be a downgrade.

By not allowing them to do any of what's mentioned above, they will never utilize it's full capabilities since Apple limits the consumer.

Sorry but why would someone want to do split screen on such a small screen anyways? Have you ever seen someone doing VR outside in the Samsung commercials? maybe all my friends/people I know have iPhones but I've never seen anyone actually doing it. The PIP is cool on the iPad but even on the 12.9" screen, the PIP is still small and hard to see. Most people probably use it for sports and its tough to see when its so small, let alone on a smaller screened phone. While I agree about the convert to a PC, I also don't think Samsung's DeX is there yet. You would have to make iOS and macOS a little more of the same but I don't think Apple is in to that, yet anyways. As for your other things, if a user reallllllllllly needs those features above all else then they wouldn't want an iPhone in the first place.

All of your "friends" have iPhones. You have made all of your assertions null and void....Thanks. There are use cases for split screen on the larger screen Android devices and many Android users can testify to that. DeX is phenomenal and the most stable/fluid PC phone dock that I have experienced and I have definitely experienced the windows phone dock that had this feature and it was a mess. DeX is nearly like chrome OS on a desktop and makes at home productivity on your mobile device even more convenient.

Interesting that A11 seems to be shifting to HMP, all six cores exposed to the kernel, rather than A10 which was a hardware switcher that only showed 3 logical cores. More like gen 3 big.little now

Figured Apple didn't see a point to it in A10, but maybe they just didn't have the time the first round instead.

The BCM4375 provides 2x2 MIMO 802.11ax along with Bluetooth 5.0. *

So now we know why there are new AirPods.

Been hoping Apple would go with Bluetooth 5 for a long time. Offers huge increases in transfer speed, distance, and battery life. They were one of the very first to go with BT 4 so it makes sense they'll be the first to really push 5 also.

I find the entire concept of using your phone in a dock as a "PC" to be inconvenient. Any place I can have a dock, keyboard, and monitor, I can just have a small low cost computer that's much more powerful than the phone, and that doesn't "go away" when I need to take the phone with me. I think intelligent sync and access to data between devices is more useful than tethering my personal pocket computer to a desk. I don't see how it's more useful or convenient than just having an actual Chromebook in your bag instead of a monitor and keyboard.

But none do things that well. I am sure you buy stereo equipment based on the number of lights, nobs, dials and buttons. You look at it and say... WOW!!!!!!

If you have used TouchWiz, you know what I am talking about.

Nope, you have it wrong. I was a former Apple enthusiast here and gave Apple plenty of chances. The time had came and I haven't looked back ever since.........

I was all for it and defended it as well. Only reason I still post is because I still enjoy technology and this is ultimately a tech forum even if some are obsessed with just Apple. Plus, you guys are most interesting when a new iPhone is being released. I like giving you guys my viewpoints even if you like it or not. I'm always multitasking trust me, I'm not just posting. By October, you will never hear from me till sometimes next year with the next new iPhone or iPad release.

Ultimately I'm here to inform the misinformed.

You have the "truth". That is rich. What magic elixir of life do you have to sell today?

Ha ha! People only use Apple devices for Facebook! Wheeeeeeeee!

Oops. Forgot YouTube and Netflix. On train, that's all I see. People who wants to work, they pull out their MacBook/windows laptops. You can think all you want, but phones are media consumption device. Nothing more!

Did you see where I said stellar ratings and reviews so most of everything is actually done well.....

Well if it’s what you see on the train, it must be objective truth!

Based on my Dock, see if you can guess what my primary uses are for my iPad. Yes, it also has the time killers on there in folders, what with the whole being a useful, flexible computing device thing.
