Oh, they're still seen as dull and boring in the U.S. too... that's why Honda felt compelled to create that Acura nonsense brand. :p :p :p
I didn't want to get into that debate. ;) :p
BTW, do you include the Civic Si in the 'dull and boring' category as well? :D

The Audi. My family have had a Audi A4 (the 2002 model) for almost 3 years and it has never broken down, almost never had anything go wrong at all, TBH.

ive got a brand spanking new Audi A4 B8 model SE on order :) should be delivered in September, that's the 2009 model for you americans.

Didn't even consider a Honda, old people's car.

He may be able to afford a brand new 2009 Audi A4, but he has to live in Manchester. ;)

I know, you'd think he would move if he has that kind of money. :D

Used Audis arnt that expensive, we got our 2002 A4 for around 6 grand and that was almost 3 years ago.

I've never seen one that cheap that didn't have major issues. A five year old A4 with heavy mileage usually goes for around 10 grand in these parts.

Nope, ours was great condition, still is! :)

Good to know, though, we are looking to get rid of it soon. :D

EDIT: Also, its £6,000 not $. And, yep Abstract, I am in Imaginationland!!! :D

Well you bought a 3 year old A4 for $6000 back in 2005. Since the car has aged another 3 years, I'll take the car off your hands for -$24,000.

Now pay up.

EDIT: Ah, OK. I still don't know how it's possible though, unless the car you bought was stolen.

Not stolen, police cars check plates automatically and if its reported stolen they will pull you over, and after 3 years if this hasent happened we are just super-lucky!!! :D

It was a ex-company car, if that is any explanation... The guy needed to get rid of it fast. He didnt seem dodgy, I think he actually has some sort of car business ATM.

Ah, that makes more sense. That's way out of my range, considering that when you buy a used car, you usually have to fix something plus do basic maintenance like changing fluids, new tires etc.

Nope, our car was in perfect condition, and in 3 years we have only ever had 2 very minor problems with it! :)

And... ITS NOT STOLEN, ALREADY!
