Im curious. I read around different threads about people having different accessories for their MBP when they are at home. So I want to know what accessories people buy for their macbook pros, and what they use it for. It will be interesting to see what turns out. Macbooks are also welcome but I am more interested in how people use a pro at home. As for me:

-Microsoft Explorer Mouse (to work anywhere on all surfaces)
-Cooler Master Notepal W2 3 fans (I don't really like over heating, hurts the notebook)
-ATen USB Peripheral Switch (so I can connect my desktop and MBP alternately to one printer at the same time without a print server)
-Belkin 7 port USB hub (the more the merrier!)
-Targus XL Metro Notbook Bag (I need to use the MBP on the go quite a bit, besides it only costs 50 USD at a warehouse sale, I could not resist!
-AVA Softpad (A wrist pad originally for the macbook, but it was also at a warehouse sale price. I hope the white wll fir with the aluminum MBP)

As a side note, I (will) have the 17 inch MBP. These are just things I prepare so I can immediately get to work when it delivers on Feb 16

I don't mind comments as well. I wonder how this will turn out!:)

Toslink cable over to me AVR

Although at the moment I decided to pull all those out and lay in bed with the thing. It's too cold at my desk, and my chair is much less cushy. :)

Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 for Mac
    Motorola S9 Bluetooth Headset
    Apple Remote

    and thats it :D
Should get a Time Capsule soon.

By the way, for people interested in this mouse, I must say that its pretty confortable to use and very precise, although I hate the scroll wheel, it doesn't scroll very smooth. Also the expose button is bad placed, I ended up disabling this because some times I hit it accidently. On the other hand, Mighty Mouse have a better scrolling, but its to big for me. I wish Apple should release a Mighty mouse in the size and shape of the MS mouse , this would be perfect!

ok, keep going with the thread :D

I'm really liking the Microsoft Arc mouse - you can fold it up to turn it off when you're not using it, and it's a pretty nice mouse...

That and an Apple BT keyboard for working at a desk.

Forget the Mighty Mouse - go for the Logitech MX Revolution.

I totally support that. After using the MX Revolution, I don't think that there is anything better than this truly revolutionary mouse. Anyone try to prove me wrong?

By the way, the mighty mouse looks like a pebble, so you using a pebble as a mouse. The only benefit of that whit object is the looks really.:apple:

Wow that's a lot of computers you got back there:)

Oh and I want to ask you, is the cushion a dust magnet. Like does it get dirty easily. Also I want to know if the invisible shield is effective. I dunno whether I should get it or not because it is quite expensive here.

Well it does get more dust and mud easily. if you spill honey on it, you can clean it with a cloth or wash it on a washing machine... the advantage is that the cushion is that you can use it in bed and it's quite indestructible compared to Elevator Notebook Stand.

You can pouch it, throw it, hit it... the cushion absorbs collisions like a pillow.

But if you spill glue, acid, alchool or worst oil.... you ruin it. :p

    Has you can see..
The invisible shield protects my track pad from finger nail scratch, the palm of my hands and it avoid getting honey on the inside of the track pad. As for for the case it self, i have Speck’s Clear SeeThru hard shell case on the top of the invisible shield.. in other words, i have double protection. I know it's stupid to put so many cases on my macbook pro but i need them because Im such a pig when i eat in-front of my computer.

Sorry for my french, im from http://www.ehmac.ca/

Because it's peanut butter jelly time. I love eating peanut butter + honey sandwitch. I'm a bear.
