- Power Support’s Anti-Glare Film
- Speck’s Clear SeeThru hard shell case
- zCover’s Clear TypeOn Keyboard Skin

That cushion looks like one of those - how should I put this - sexual position aide cushions you see advertised in the back of Maxim/FHM. Just another dual purpose device.

MBP
Wireless and wired routers
external LaCie da Qaudro (?) 500GB firewire drive
kensington external USB 2.0 hub
Timbuk2 commuter messanger bag
microsoft bluetooth 5000 mouse

Oh and I want to ask you, is the cushion a dust magnet. Like does it get dirty easily.

I have a Belkin CushTop also, and I really like it. It's great to keep the warmth away from my lap and to put on the bed while watching a movie. The cover of the CushTop is like a duffel bag material, so you can easily just brush off any dust that gets on it.

I recommend for those using airport express with more than one Mac, a wireless printer is perfect for this setup. We have ours setup at home and all computers print through the wireless signal from the airport express network to the printer as a networked printer. We got the M620 Canon which is an all-in-one, but prints photos nicely, scans and copies without a hitch. Additionally, when you turn it on, it lowers the paper guide to hold your printouts as a nice touch.

Airport Express, Epson Printer and three GTechnology external drives, one for Time Machine and two for business backup.

Wireless Mighty Mouse
BT Apple keyboard
250GB WD firewire drive for Time Machine
22" 1080p HDTV for monitor
AEBS
500GB Philips WD drive connected to AEBS for storage
4 Port usb hub
Apple remote
Samsung mono laser printer

Currently, my Logitech G5 mouse and JBL Creature speakers are plugged into my MBP.

Airport Express as the router
Razer Exactmat as my mousepad (glass table)
Logitech V320 Mouse
Dell SP2309W monitor
Rain Designs mStand monitor stand
Apple Aluminum Keyboard
Klipsch Promedia 2.1
WD 2.5" External time machine drive

I just bought the MBP versus regular MacBook beause I wanted the bigger screen and backlit keys so I'm not exactly a power or pro user I guess

How do you carry the mx revolution around? The charger stand is so big

I just carry the mouse and the usb receiver. Ended up having two charging stands because I lost the first MX revolution. I don't know how that happened, it's such a big mouse...heh

Oh Where did you buy the other charger, and can you replace the battery as well? Mine is almost dead

Yea I know I saw an article online about replacing the MX's battery. Just google it and you should be able to find it. I think the battery was around $20ish? I could be wrong.

I didn't buy the other charger. I had one MX and then I lost it, so I bought another MX. So now I have two chargers and one mouse.

Perhaps it is just me, but I thought the whole point of having a laptop was portability. With so many accessories hooked up, it would possibly be easier buying a desktop. I know from experience that connecting and disconnecting USB cables to your laptop, eventually can take a toll on the interface.

Basically at home I have a Mac Pro, and my MacBook Pro is for usage in the rest of the house, and when going places. When I do mobility is the key, and I have no accessories to connect to it - it has all necessary parts built-in. Hence, sleeve is the only thing.

Perhaps you could use a hub to connect all your usbs together?

Perhaps you could use a hub to connect all your usbs together?

That's what I do. I use the built-in USB hub on my Logitech AudioHub to connect said speakers, keyboard, and mouse to my laptop. I just plug in one USB cable and I am set. I have 1 extra port on the hub and 1 on the MBP. If I need more, I have an memory card reader/USB hub I can use.

My current setup:
System: MBP Early/Mid 2008
Griffin Elevator (Really didn't think it would be worth the money, but after a weekend of using it I won't go back)
Logitech AudioHub (Sounds great and fits nicely underneath my MBP when its on the Elevator)
Apple Keyboard (Pre-Aluminum)
RocketFish Wired Mouse for Mac (Does everything I need it to for only $20)
Mouse Pad

If we get into "extras":
Airport Extreme
1TB MyBook for videos and Time Machine Backup (connected to APEX; trying to set up media center so I can easily watch my vids on my TV instead of [compared to TV] small MBP screen)
500GB HD enclosure (being replaced by 1TB MyBook and being turned into backup of backup [Long-term storage of files and TM])

Hi all,

I have a MBP late 2008.

I hook a pair of Audioengine 2 desktop speakers to it and that is it. I normally have a USB cable stuck in to the MBP for any devices like external drives and other stuff. Does anyone know if there is anything that will occupy all the USB ports and sound in/out from the MBP and then feed that round to the back of the laptop so all the wires are out of the way.

It would be like a USB hub but with the audio sockets too.

Cheers in advance!

Besides the peripherals listed in my sig:

- a logitech mx 310 optical mouse and elite keyboard which are plugged into a d-link 1.1 usb hub running off one of the usb ports on the ACD display

- crucial 8GB memory stick

- koolsink laptop cooling stand

Needless to say I don't go "portable" too often (or at all ;) ) at this point in my life.
