Hi all,

I have a MBP late 2008.

I hook a pair of Audioengine 2 desktop speakers to it and that is it. I normally have a USB cable stuck in to the MBP for any devices like external drives and other stuff. Does anyone know if there is anything that will occupy all the USB ports and sound in/out from the MBP and then feed that round to the back of the laptop so all the wires are out of the way.

It would be like a USB hub but with the audio sockets too.

Cheers in advance!

Something like a docking station is what you need. Check out Belkin

And I can't believe this thread is STILL ALIVE lol

Airport Express as the router
Razer Exactmat as my mousepad (glass table)
Logitech V320 Mouse
Dell SP2309W monitor
Rain Designs mStand monitor stand
Apple Aluminum Keyboard
Klipsch Promedia 2.1
WD 2.5" External time machine drive
I changed to one of the Microsoft Bluetrack mice. LOVE IT!

is the wireless mighty mouse good?
if u dont need scrolling its amazing lol, scrolling always messes up eventually... in my case i get it working by cleaning it with face wipes /baby wipes but i've done this so many times my middle click doesnt work, there are much better mice out there i just dont want anything plugged into my mic that doesnt need to be (wireless adaptors), on my 3rd mighty mouse in 2 years

Im curious. I read around different threads about people having different accessories for their MBP when they are at home. So I want to know what accessories people buy for their macbook pros, and what they use it for. It will be interesting to see what turns out. Macbooks are also welcome but I am more interested in how people use a pro at home. As for me:

-Microsoft Explorer Mouse (to work anywhere on all surfaces)
-Cooler Master Notepal W2 3 fans (I don't really like over heating, hurts the notebook)
-ATen USB Peripheral Switch (so I can connect my desktop and MBP alternately to one printer at the same time without a print server)
-Belkin 7 port USB hub (the more the merrier!)
-Targus XL Metro Notbook Bag (I need to use the MBP on the go quite a bit, besides it only costs 50 USD at a warehouse sale, I could not resist!
-AVA Softpad (A wrist pad originally for the macbook, but it was also at a warehouse sale price. I hope the white wll fir with the aluminum MBP)

As a side note, I (will) have the 17 inch MBP. These are just things I prepare so I can immediately get to work when it delivers on Feb 16

I don't mind comments as well. I wonder how this will turn out!:)
The Microsoft explorer Mouse is AMAZING!!!!! Works on literally every surface, even uneven ones.
