We really gotta get Apple to stop throwing Pro onto everything. I'm sure these'll be really nice wireless earbuds, and there's no denying AirPods as one of Apple's best consumer products of the past decade, but I'd be stunned if they had anything like the performance necessary to be considered professional audio equipment.

Bro... It’s just a name / marketing term Lol. Apple is just competing with themselves. Pro to Apple and their products doesn’t equate to what makes other company’s products “Pro”. Let them be.

Full black would look better. But at this point I’ll take space gray over white any day lol

I wish they would stop with Space Gray. We want BLACK Lol. Or JET BLACK.

iPhone 7/7 Plus and the stainless steel Apple Watches all have a Black option smh.

If these have soft ear tips and ANC for under $250, I will order them right away.

I'm gonna guess there will be product announcements October 29th along with official release of iOS 13.2 - one day ahead of the October 30th financial conference call.

Isn't it usually best to have product announcements and releases after a quarterly call?

At this point it looks like the October event is not gonna happen, but honestly I don’t care, as long as they give me these in-ear! I LOVE my AirPods and would love having their portability with better sound quality and noise reduction, perfect for when I’m on the plane! Really hope they get released on Tuesday with a press release, before the earnings call, in time for the holidays. It makes sense, right? 😅

Never seizes to amaze me that after all these advanced smartphones that we have, the leaked photos are still horribly blurry... looks like they used a flip phone from 15 years ago to take that last photo. ;)

The people taking these are sneaking a photo would cost them their job if caught. Usually with a phone they aren't supposed to even have on the manufacturing floor. So I guess be lucky you get one at all.

You put a photo a dozen or so times through wechat and/or whatsapp and it comes out looking like that.

I wonder if they also make a case accessory (with handles and wheels) for the Powerbeats Pro ;-)

$249 seems quite Apple.
If not that, then definitely $299.
One of the two.

It's tough to say. Apple launched the AirPods with a surprisingly low price. Since then, the competition has barely been able to match their price and quality.

Looking at the direct competition: Sony's ANC earbuds are $230. Bose's non-ANC earbuds are $200, but the ANC ones will surely be closer to $300. Amazon's new earbuds, with "Bose noise-reduction" will be only $130.

The rumor is they will cost $160-$200, depending on wireless charging. That would be in-line with Apple's aggressive pricing for the AirPods. I think Apple could get away with $250.

$250-300 is too steep. First, psychologically I'm thinking in terms of grands at that point - that's a quarter to a third of a grand. Second, at those prices people will expect ANC to be on-par with the Beats Solo Pro, which it can't possibly be.

To be honest, the noise canceling feature is not really appealing to me personally. But one thing I would like to see is the AirPods get a ‘boost’ in the overall volume. I actually feel they’re not loud enough, even compared to my wired EarPods, which seem louder over the AirPods. But if the AirPods include a water resistance rating, improvements with the Sound produced, I’ll definitely upgrade. [Yes, A black color variant would be nice, but I can still settle for white.]
Noise cancelling and noise isolation will actually boost the perceived volume because you’ll hear less of the outside noise and more of the music. Also, if you think any headphones don’t go loud enough, you’ve clearly already permanently damaged your hearing. If your hearing loss is because of genetics or a virus, and not by choice, then I apologize.
EDIT: Sorry, this came off more rude than I wanted it to. I’m adding a smiley lessen the blow 😜

Well, if I damaged my hearing, I blame Kill-switch Engage when blasting my eardrums out with my AirPods while lifting hard in the gym.😁

On a side note:

I think my hearing is just fine, though.

Hoping Apple releases these soon so I can return my Powerbeats Pro (before it’s too late) which I found to be a bit underwhelming.

It's possible that this case is for these headphones that just so happen to look just like airpod pros

Where did you hear this rumor? It's doubtful to me they would add ANC and 'pro' to the name and then price them the same as the ones we have now.

The rumor I heard is that they are going to be in the $280 range. This seems much more likely to me and aligns with Apple usually being more expensive than the competition.

Finally! Hopefully AirPods Pro launches earlier rather than later. ANC on AirPods has been one of my most wanted features.
No evidence that they will be ANC. But even without, I’m buying them immediately.

Agreed. I had my AirPods painted black (in a cherry red case) and they look fantastic.
